I think Guinness is an okay beer for the most part. Years of drinking porters and imperial stouts has spoiled me, and leaves Guinness tasting kind of watered down.
I did like the guinness porter and their west indies porter. Don't really see it much these days.

Guinness is decent because most pubs do it, it's not extortionately priced and the hangovers aren't that bad from it. I try tell myself it's healthier too. Like when you get a diet coke with your extra large mcdonalds meal.

I used to drink Guinness stout like it was going out of fashion, but these days I actually prefer lager. I lived in Scotland for a while, where I discovered Tennent's - the most generic, pisswater lager I've ever drank. Yet oddly enough, I can't get enough of the stuff. Tastes better in the can than on tap too.

There was a similar beer I loved when I visited Malta, but for the life of me I can't remember the name. The joys of cold beers on hot days, I suppose.

Yuengling is now available in my state. I found my new beer of choice.
Based.
I'm having one now, because I just mowed the lawn and it's perfect for that. Or to sip or to cook with ... etc.

People who haven't had the blessing of it, it's just a cheap ass flexible decent lager for dirt cheap. Also I owe that family a massive debt, with out it I'd never have finished college, let alone get so much tail.

Their black & tan is also good, especially for the price.

I've had a bottle of Fuller's Vintage Ale sitting in a wine fridge for nearly a decade as per the instructions they say wait a few years to let it age in a bottle.

Goddamn what a taste beer this is. Reminds me of Chimay but lighter on the pallette. Your premium ales are legitimately worth it. I appreciate it better than Wine.

Can’t say I have ever been over enthusiastic about Tennent’s.
The Tennent’s super drank by all Scottish people, I mean tramps in London is worse than special brew, so that takes some doing.

Jupiler is the best mass market beer in the world...
got me a crate of it yesterday, and its fantastic for such a mass market beer. I hope they added it to the local sales roattion at my beer dealer and the crate for 9.99 wasnt a one off.
(they have one big brand beer for that price every week, so maybe they put this into that rotation.)

Guinness tastes like shite. Coopers Best Extra Stout is where it's at.

I am liking Kalamazoo Stout, but mainly for food. Specifically for chili or any kind of stew.

Just cracked a bottle of barleywine I made a couple of years ago that, even pretty recently, seemed too dry and astringent. Now it's bloody gorgeous. Worth the wait. :)

Guinness doesn't travel well ime. It tasted better in Ireland than it does in the UK, though to me it's still decent here. There's plenty of other good stouts though.

Extra-strong Polish beers > Tennent's Super if you wanna get shitfaced. Original Tennent's is basically just water directly from the Clyde, the selling point is the ease with which you can neck it.

Chimay Red is my favorite non-local beer. But that's expensive. Fortunately, you can turn any shitty beer into a delicious beer-mosa (aka Brass Monkey) with a little orange juice.

Lately I've been drinking the crap out of really hoppy Belgian Strong Pales for some reason. Specifically Houblon Chouffe. Not sure what it is but lately it's been really hitting the spot for me.

Hot dog shack near work had "FREE BEER"
actually turned out not bs
Free can of beer with an order. Not tremendous but still not some bullshit like half a can in a cup
All they had left was Miller Lite
I had forgotten how those are actually pretty nice when you're sweating your ass off

After having grabbed a pack of alcohol free gösser Radler on accident, i have to say, i will swap from soda to Gösser Alcohol free Radler. that stuff is incredible.

Hmm, I gotta try some of this

okay i have to temper your expectations a bit, its not as good as the normal gösser radler, but its as good as other radler.
The Alcohol free version is never as good as the normal one, but you can find some alcoholfree beer and radler that are as good as generic beer/radler.
You can give something like a flensburger alcohol free to somebody who normaly drinks more southern pilsener and that person will not taste that its alcohol free.

Dragon's Milk occasionally releases reserves, I liked the blue one (cookies and cream) and the green one (cinnamon and chili pepper), but the brown one that's supposed to be s'mores flavored is not very good.
Oh god I had the s'mores one. I don't know how to describe it other than it tastes like spoilt milk and burnt chocolate.

publix had Fosters b3g3
dude at the cash register asked me how Fosters is
I was nice and tried to explain it as a "sorta good compared to normal cheap american pisswater, but not better than 'it's bogo' " but seriously how the fuck are you old enough to drink and haven't at least had a Fosters once

I used to like Foster's Bitter a bit. It's not particularly excellent but it was cheap and came in those oil can things and was bitter. I haven't seen it around much in burgerland lately though.
