The Beer Thread

  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.
Anyone have any suggestions for craft breweries around Kansas City?

got a 9 pack of Miller Lite aluminum pints
not bad for "drink a lot of beer while eating a lot of food" beers

I really enjoy Vedett beer, It's Belgian, so I'm not sure how familiar you guys are with it.
In the winter, I like a Guinness.

I like a nice Czech Pilsner on a hot day. Can't go wrong with a Pilsner Urquell or Czechvar after a round of golf.

Also love Chimay blue and yellow label.

current beer - Rio lager from Guatemala
on sale at Winn Dixie for $12 for a 24 pack

at fifty cents a can it's pretty nice, def holds its own alongside slightly less-cheap American pisswaters

Zundert is one of the two Dutch trappist breweries and this beer is fucking awesome.

still vouching for Rio
it's very much a random pisswater of the Americas but at the price Winn Dixie is offering it's pretty damn okay

Anyone in the U.S. notice a shortage in imported beers lately? For some reason around here I've been having a hard time finding stuff from Germany, Czechia and Poland, dunno what's up.

Żywiec baltic porter is one of my faves for the winter but I had to call to like 5 places to find it when the stores around here are usually fully stocked.

I'm mostly a vodka drinker, but when I do drink beer I generally go for Stellas or a cheap local beer I like. Most of the local beer charges through the ass but this one doesn't cost anymore than the normal beers, and it tastes pretty good.
