I’ve said this before and I know people have jobs and need their employment. BUT, do you not think it’s worth a shot to in mass, sit out? As in no going to work, school, shopping. Nothing except bare essentials. Maybe all gather with your lawn chairs, coolers and instruments, in massively overwhelming numbers around Buckingham palace, or somewhere else very visible. No violence, just visiting with neighbors, dancing, kids running around everywhere. Not just for a day, start with a week.
People are afraid to lose their jobs. People say they can’t afford it but already, people are going to prison for years now. If it escalates, there will be more arrests and violence will happen. Isn’t it worth a push to try this first?

I’m a bit familiar with this topic. Animals in the UK (and US) aren’t sedated, they’re shot with a bolt gun in the head. This theoretically is supposed to make them lose consciousness before their throats are cut, but doesn’t happen reliably because it turns out that the smartest people don’t often work in slaughterhouses. That means the animal can be lying stunned but in terrible pain, or partially stunned.
The idea of an animal simply having its throat cut doesn’t bother me as long as it’s done properly. If the throat is cut correctly, severing major arteries to the head, it should lose consciousness instantly.

If by "fading into nothing" you mean that COVID restrictions were dropped soon after, and that even mentioning the "new normal" became a third rail in Canada, sure. The trucker protests didn't exactly result in Trudeau being turned into a lamppost ornament, but they were immensely more successful than whatever just happened in the UK. To make a comparison, if Keir Starmer fled London in panic, then cut down immigration radically, in an environment where suddenly it became a cringe taboo for a politician to promote immigration, then we would have a roughly even level of success.

I sure love how that dumb cunt does not understand what terms mean, whilst continuing to discuss them. If I asked those kids to define nationalism (a really simple concept) they would not be able to do so; and I doubt they'd be able to understand the many different interpretations of a nation Hell, and how the nation should be. Not to sound like Jason Brennan, but I doubt that most of them are competent enough to have any ounce of personal responsibility. Especially because if they can't grasp basic concepts politically, then how the hell would they be expected to rule? Most, if not all of them, are probably privately educated. For those of you that are yanks, you can tell because they have a sense of superiority amongst everyone around them (they describe this as confidence) and from their accents being "posh". It was always fun to see those that came from a private background during one of my A-Level in Politics (I basically did it because it was a free A*).

If you can eat shit like that, then you're fit for public office. Also kids should keep their mouths shut about anything political. At that age, you don't have your own political beliefs, you just follow someone else's. True convictions only come with experience and personal growth, none of which kids have.

It depends on the animal. Larger animals are generally shot with a boltgun as you said but it isn't "lol who cares" if it doesn't fully kill them.
