(I edited that right after I posted it, sorry.) And no it probably doesn't matter because I have exceedingly low expectations that the authorities are actually going to do anything on Chris's behalf. It was just sort of a speculation about the world of shit they would be in if something does happen to those assclowns.

Yeah, I don't know if they'd have anything left by the time charges get filed. But at least it'll show intent. They actually panicked at least once or twice during this whole saga, before we started looking into in greater depth, and deleted everything, moved servers, and then cautiously brought Chris back in again to start the scam up again.

The government doesn't really consider that the idea itself is stupid as evidence for an insanity plea. Insanity pleas virtually never work in the US. The requirement is something like, you had to have been out of your mind (almost on par with being unconscious, essentially) for it to work.

If a prosecutor picks this up (admittedly, that's an "if" at this point), these guys are pretty boned.
