Not really. He needs a designated payee to make sure he doesn't get his entire tugboat stolen, though. It also might happen if Chris is instantly homeless when his evil bitch of a mother finally croaks. Usually I wouldn't say you owe your kids much after your death, but she deliberately crippled him, stole most of his money for most of his life, and left him the wreck he is today.
You really don’t think a home would be best for Chris? Even if it’s not his money what if somebody gets him to go off with them and he ends up chained up in a basement? The stuff Chris was being made to believe my 10 year old niece would be skeptical of and I would never leave her alone unsupervised. Chris has to much of a target on him.

Perhaps it has been said already, but you would be better served to approach the local (to cwc) department of social services and speak to the people there who do elderly abuse cases. Most of those places will either also deal with the mentally or can tell you who does, and often they have an assigned investigator from the sheriff or police who specializes in fraud.

This is about this shittiest thing you can do to an autistic man over the internet. At the end of the day Chris is quite harmless and doesn't deserve anything like this to happen. It's good that Null and friends are looking out for him

The problem isn’t him, it’s other people.

Morally, yeah, obviously these fucktards are lower than dogshit. But in the end, the problem is Chris. The world is full of immoral scumbag fucktards like these two. Part of being legally responsible for yourself is being able to deal with people like that, or at least avoid them. But instead, Chris lets them convince him they have a super moon gun, and they're going to laser his cartoon-hedgehog buddies, so he better do what they say. It's not Chris's fault that he's gullible as fuck, but he's clearly not capable of being legally responsible for himself .

Just saying "OK, Chris should be able to do whatever, so every time some dipshit convinces him to sell his car to buy magic Sonichu beans again, that'll totally be the fault of those scammers..." isn't much of a solution.

Mental health professionals would likely take the view that he should just stay offline.
Yep. Or at least use the internet anonymously, so people can't target him because of his past, or use his 'CWCville' shit against him like happened here. Problem is he fucking loves his internet "fame", and won't let that shit go unless someone forces him.

This is yet more proof that the people who harrass Chris are infinitely more pathetic than he is. Yeah, he’s a lolcow. But he’s also harmless and, in a weird way, very innocent. He’s like a child, gullible and naive. Taking advantage of someone like that and abusing them is disgusting, predatory behavior. Only sociopaths with no empathy could extort thousands of dollars out of a mentally ill person.

I’m happy to see that @Null and most Kiwis are supporting Chris and trying to put a stop to this. It’s clear that there’s no one else in his life that cares enough about him to do the same. Even if we can’t get these people into legal trouble, we can still broadcast what they did.

She's not really in his life, but he reached out to her and she put it off. Instead of taking 5 minutes to go to the police with him and help him turn over evidence, she ignored the problem. When she heard 'da trolls' were helping Chris, she completely abandoned him and refused to have anything to do with it. The only thing she cared about was getting personal revenge on the online CWC followers.

To be fair, if Chris showed up and told me that his new friends from Kiwifarms were trying to help him with some plan, there's no way I wouldn't conclude that this was some trolling thing and that he was being duped yet again.
