In this single comment thread with replies to each other, watch as the story changes from "Null was the blackmailer, he KNOWS his time is up!" to "Null made it all up, it's a hoax to make himself look good!" to "Null was just having a schizophrenic episode!". Either these people are really obsessed with making Null out to be the bad guy, or they're the same people that denied the Pokémon Gold/Silver beta leak despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

I was thinking of ways Chris could make a semi-reliable small stream of income and I came up with answering fanmail on youtube streams.

It's free, harmless, easy enough for even him to do, doesn't require him to interact with others or leave his house, and he could use youtube's Super Chat or other services (such as Streamlabs) to take in money from commenters who can't be bothered to send a letter. Obviously Chris doesn't realize his very existence is a marketable product but maybe something simple like that could give him a hint of it.
Though I'm hesitant to actually message him and suggest it because of the current wéen drama.

I don't think that's safe. Someone could exploit the tip system to get him into another set of mindgames 'Hi. I'm the CPU, I gave you bits to have you notice me' and then take it to PMs.
And no one can police those bits, it's as simple as posing as Stan Marsh and telling him something like 'Null has been compromised, he is no longer trustworthy. Keep this between us while I investigate'.
I really don't think that's the best idea, not at the moment anyways.

I think people get a warped understanding of the situation by reading posts on kf and not actually wading through the bullshit itself.

Chris ignores like 99% of the stuff people throw at him.

You get the impression that Chris gets super ragey and feels compelled to respond to a big chunk of them because kf only highlights the times when he does respond. But that's a drop in the bucket compared to all the stuff that he ignores.

Just look at any tweet of his and see all the screeching going on.

I see mostly people who are throwing the same old, tired, unfunny memes at Chris. Stuff he's heard a million times before.

While I'm inclined to agree, please note that there was a news story (that had a thread on KF no less) about a guy flying from New Zealand to America for a teenage booty call, only to get shot in the throat by the girl's mother. People will do some strange things to sate their hungers.

We do know through a reliable source that Boyd has received some minor "harassment". Wise however seems to think that the worst is over.

Joshua Wise seems like the exceptional type of person who doesn't learn if he doesn't suffer from actual consequences. So I think he'll be back for a third round of kick(see: extort) the autistic when the Feds don't come knocking on his door.
