One day after Barbara is gone and the power has been turned off, Chris will wander outside and just start walking. He'll loiter around fast food joints for food and help until an officer is dispatched. He might avoid them the first few times around and escape back to his house until the next day, but at some point he'll get caught. Normal procedure would be to just remove him from the premises, but his mom taught him better: "bull rush those dang cops". Taking one from Harry's Code, Chris knows that he must not get caught. And with another felony charge to his name, his second go round in court will not be so merry. This is the point where he would most definitely be involuntarily committed.

There's actually a movie already based on what happens when Barb dies. Though the names were changed to protect the innocent. Christian Chandler was changed to Norman Bates.

Wow, there are SO many things in that video that would unleash a shitstorm in the media today...most notable being "Don't throw us away"

Here are afew possibility's of whats gonna happen when Barb gos.

1. The most unlike is that he will some how turn his life around with a REALLY good social worker, gets a really basic part time job, hopefully afew people who can tolerate too have conversations with him about vidya or adult swim, exercisers regularly, start eating better and loose some weight probably no sweet heart tho....

2. The next is death from doing something stupid in the house, like the hoard falling on him or burning the house down. Suicide is a possibility (not very likely tho), but knowing Chris he would be too stupid too do it properly.

3. The two that are the most realistic and best for Chris is the loony bin. But if he dose finally loose it (even more) he may even do something to get him in jail. I always thought he would be like this guy in prison or jail. Only fatter, creepier and :briefs:

:o It's the dreaded "r" word!

Anyway, I was browsing the Amy and Samy thread in the General Lolcow section and when I saw Holdek's post about a hoarder's house catching fire (more like exploding) in Mesa, AZ I immediately thought of our favorite mommy Snorlax and her speshul Munchlax snowflake and how this could be a possible future for them if Mama Snorlax keeps being a naughty one and refuses to let go of her trash.

Here's the link that Holdek posted over there:

Yes, and the hoarder's name has something to do with another lolcow... :julay:

I don't see Chris actually carrying out suicide, but I can see him threatening it as an attention-getting tactic once Barb is gone. Barb pulled out the "IMMA GONNA KILL MYSELF CHRISTHUN" card at least twice in Christory as a way of getting her way, and I can see Chris adopting it.

Of course, if (and when) he tries this, one of two things will happen: 1.) Nobody will take him seriously and he'll just go away dejected, 2.) Police officers and mental health professionals will be called and a new season of "KICK DA AUTISTIC" will premiere.

I get the feeling that Chris may surprise some people when it comes to bill paying. All that really need to be done is to set up direct debits/standing orders. This is no more difficult than buying stuff online. I think when it gets down to it, the prospect of being homeless will override Chris' natural inclination to just not do things. Necessity will end up being the responsible parent he never had. His main challenge will be restraining his money wasting instincts and ensure that the cash is actually in the bank when it comes to bill paying day.

If anythings going to cause trouble for him it'll some sort of unexpected situation or hidden cost.

This.

I've said this a million times, I'm sure, but Chris can lie to himself about a lot of things, but physical realities are a lot harder for him to lie to himself about. At the end of the day, no matter how hard he tries, Chris can't lie his ps3 into working without electricity. He knows that, we all know that. The electricity bill will be paid. I worry about things that Chris might not know about on his own, like property taxes and things like that. Though if the county sends him a bill in the mail, he might pay it.

I'm curious as to whether or not Chris will attempt (key word being attempt) to clean up Barb's hoard after she's gone. I know that would give him DA STRESS, but he's complained about Barb's hoarding tendencies in the past; the only thing stopping him and Bob was the fact that Barb bitched when they attempted to throw anything out. With her out of the picture, would he try to get rid of some of the stuff, or would the task be too much for him?

He might try to clean up parts of the hoard, but ultimately, he'd probably just go back to his room after Barb is gone.

I'm curious about his budget. Will he be able to understand:

SSD $1500
Electricity ($100)
Water ($40)
Cable ($75)
Gas ($50)
Subscriptions to Netflix, PS3 Supreme, McDonalds Rewards Club, whatever the fuck else ($100)
Remainder to blow = ?

And it's not even like, this is a simple thing he can easily understand. Something around 35% of Americans can't figure out how to budget.

I think it'll just be the same old, rinse repeat existence as always, like others have said.

However, I think that as he's become increasingly bitter and twisted (especially with all this MLP Facebook nonsense) that he'll eventually draw enough attention to himself to be covered more in mainstream media...and I think that's exactly what he wants. He's cut himself off from being the centre of attention all the time, and part of me thinks he misses it; it made him feel like a big boy, being asked after, challenged, demanded of by what he perceived to be hundreds of people or important people...it made him feel like someone of value himself, superior. He claims to want to be left alone, but in a sense I think he revels in the attention. It's only a matter of time before more videos go up, I think.

When Barb dies, I really have no idea what will happen to him. Only time will tell.

I seem to recall that he once stated that one of reasons he won't change his number is because the bills are paid through him now. I can't remember where I read it but I'm fairly sure it was an email exchange with a gal-pal. Do you think it's possible that in an unexpected act of common sense, Barb has transferred the duties to him in an attempt to prepare him for life when she's gone?

Do you think he'd even try to sell some stuff online, or would it be like his toys and he'd feel too attached to it? I know most of it'll be worthless thrift store shite, but surely stuff like Bob's record collection will still exist somewhere.

People base opinions like these on incomplete information. Chris really doesn't like the attention.

Uhh, maybe? Barb would do things like that, but I don't know if she'd do it because she's trying to help Chris survive after she's gone. She'd do it because of some convenience she'd gain by doing it. Beats me though.

Eh, nah, the hoard bothers Chris. He tolerates it because his mother forces him to. I don't think he'd attach any sort of emotional meaning to it after Barb died.

He'd be much more likely to leave the hoard as it is out of laziness instead of sentimentality.

If she truly cared about life after she's gone she probably wouldn't be hoarding Chris like one of her possessions, but that's just my opinion.

Do you know Chris personally then? I've been off the forum for about a year now, so I've kinda lost track of who's who.

If he doesn't like the attention, then I can't understand what the 'calling outs' and the personal stabs are for. Surely he's aware that this kind of behaviour garners the kind of attention he apparently hates, right? Outright trolling, I can imagine he doesn't miss, of course, but what he perceived to be positive attention I'd think he does miss a great deal. It just seems to make sense to me, after all he is gradually cutting off all of the people and places out of his life that got him the least arse-pats and adoration; the Place and his church, for example. I doubt he went back to that young adult's club after the Wallflower fiasco either. I think he's gone/going off Rocky too, as he's realised that he can't have sex with her or convince her to help him get sex or friends. He's running out of people who will tolerate him, so I think he will eventually come back online.

My theory is that Borb will expire in the next 3 years, and probably on the sooner side of that time. At which point we have two futures for Chris.
A:The unlikely, he finds himself all alone, away from the parents that sheltered him...and after a painful realization that life must be managed and not simply shoved onto a shelf in a blu-ray case, he starts to grow up.
B:After Borb's demise he rescinds even deeper into his room, thus achieving his own form of transcendence:Full immersion in a personless world in which he can feel all the self-pity he desires. He spends the rest of his days on vidya until he finally succumbs to the Great Slumber.

Can I just say that "the Great Slumber" is perhaps the most poetic way to put death if you take it out of the context of Chris and his antics?

Also, I assume Barb will die in about 5 years, considering she lost some weight and won't die from mere suffocation. After that Chris will probably lose it and recede into his own little mind completely where he'll attack the cops and the health department, plus anyone he owes homeowner bills to, and get taken to prison for a short stint. He'll then most likely leave prison and be without a home and will survive on McDonalds and library Wi-Fi. He'll die shortly thereafter under some overpass.

I've been involved with Chris trolling for awhile. Alec and I have kind of a different perspective because we've partook of a lot more Chris content than the general public. Probably a few times as much? Pre Bob's death, Chris was pretty much as you'd expect him to be. There are a few things Chris did back then that might be surprising, but generally, he was typical Chris.

Post Bob's death, Chris was a lot different and learned some important lessons about life. He also noticed some typical troll patterns to look out for.

That's the thing. Everyone sees Chris' (well, past) crazy behavior and thinks "boy, he can't be that stupid, can he?" And they assume he knows what he's doing, to an extent or loves the attention or something crazy like that. But really, Chris is/was that stupid. Kinda getting less stupid nowadays, but overall, he's a huge dipshit.

I'd characterize his current intelligence as wavery. Sometimes he's very surprisingly intelligent and aware, but then five minutes later he's stupid as shit.

But that's the thing, Chris isn't even close to being smarter than the trolls. And he knows that. He tried to find love online and he made honestly good attempts, but we're still much smarter than him. We hold all the cards. He knows he can't succeed online. Hell, pictures of him IRL have even made him paranoid of real life, he wouldn't chance the internet.
