New Skywind preview came out.

Make a paladin type character. You can even be one of the few people in the world to use Blunt.
I like playing Nord and swinging Shadowrend.

Well, at least there's footage for a new Elder Scrolls game with an additional confirmed subtitle, so that's a plus. Say what you want about Lying Todd, but at least he and his Bethesda crew are still making this a reality, which still cannot be said with 2K and Rockstar with their GTA 6.

This a fan work, Todd is working on Starfield

The AI-driven Final Solution against voice actors continues as planned, and I'm looking forward to it. This one is cool, but I wish it had more gameplay integration.
Then there's this one, which is VR only, very robotic and turns each NPC into a 19th-century philosopher, but is more dynamic and far less player-centric (except the spell, and I have a personal hatred for mod-enabling spells in this game).

Imagine plugging this into the radiant quest system. If it can ever get to the point where it handles NPC and item placement, note generation and objective and quest management, it might be able to generate some really interesting quests on the fly...

Watch someone plug this into Ostim and turn Skyrim into the single most morally destructive coomer game in existence.

I'd probably still play it.

I can't wait for this mod so I can call Nazeem a nigger every time I see him and make fun of orcs for being poop elves that worship a poop god. AI can't replace all the shitty VAs fast enough. I'm getting tired of hearing fucking Kerstyn Unger doing every follower mod and older mods where the VAs thought their XBox360 headset mics would be fine for recording.

No way that MS, or any other buck broken corporation, isn't going to have a gimped, DIE-approved AI model. We'll be lucky if trying to type in nigger is just censored like in Psychonauts instead of banned. Which normally wouldn't matter, but having an up to date version would justify the game requiring always online.

So, seeing as there hasn't been much activity on here lately, I want to ask; what's your favorite build? In any game, mind; it can be Skyrim, Morrowind, Oblivion, any of them. What build/character makes you grin like a tool when you get it finalized?
In Skyrim I'm fond of sneaky Illusion/Destruction hybrids, with gameplay mods to allow for sneak attacks and damage scaling. Going hard in Illusion is a very specific kind of gameplay where you play with your food a bit, and you can use runes to good effect too.

In Oblivion the health scaling is so retarded and hard caps on attribute/skill scaling mean I can only recommend using magic for damage in combination with custom spells and boatloads of Fortify Magicka enchantments.

In Morrowind, Unarmed because it's funny.

I miss the low disposition slurs characters would call you in Oblivion. Altmer were "golden rods", Argonians were "pondscum" etc etc

Bit out of character when Sean Bean called my Redguard a nigger though.

What's a good spot for Canis Roots where they are actually easy to see? You're basically looking for a dry, dead-looking shrub in places that are full of dry, dead-looking shrubs.

I recently got the chance to try Skyrim with all the new creations added. I tried fishing once and thought, "This is the stupidest shit I've ever seen."

It's like someone looked at the fishing in Pokémon R/S/E and said to themselves, "This is great, but what if it were in Skyrim and even worse somehow?"

Woe be to those who play AE with no mods that improve/alter the CC garbage in some way. Though I don't know how you'd improve the fishing besides the mod that allows you to fish anywhere as opposed to only at preset locations.
