Now I am upset. All they needed to do was use the groundwork they'd already set for Cyberpunk 2077 and focus in on pertinent features now that they weren't struggling with figuring out what the game was going to be.Switching to UE5 for a studio that already has a proprietary in-house engine isn't unheard of, to be fair. CDPR is switching to UE5 for The Witcher 4 and the next Cyberpunk, even though Red Engine is their own and made in-house.
r.fog 0 in the consoleand then removing the fog
>listens to /v/They know better than to try. A lot of Morrowind fans are insane purists who'd be impossible to please, even if they did do a good job. I used to browse all the Morrowind threads on /v/ and /vr/ and they would all shit on OpenMW for improving enemy pathing and fixing a bug where enemies wouldn't cast spells they knew (and were clearly intended by the devs for them to use).
More like egg cracking, amirite? They are NOT touching my egg mining equipment.
Lots of the data type stuff under the hood is still creation engine stuff. There are still many of the same .ESP files. UE5 handles graphics stuff on the top.Switching to UE5 for a studio that already has a proprietary in-house engine isn't unheard of, to be fair. I wouldn't be surprised if so many of the old guard of Bethesda, who knew how the Creation Engine functioned, have fucked off or retired. Starfield was a disaster and even Fallout 4 felt like they were stretching the engine to its limits.

Damn you Poland!
The people bitching about UE5 in Nublivion would also have bitched if they'd stuck with Creation.I wouldn't be surprised if so many of the old guard of Bethesda, who knew how the Creation Engine functioned, have fucked off or retired. Vivec is one colour. No more digitalblackDunmer face.
N'wah has been replaced with "outsider". It's a more literal translation so it's lore accurate.
Quest markers? Of course we added them! Don't worry you can't turn them off, wouldn't want the modern audience to turn them off by mistake and get lost.
Quest journal directions? Nah, since we added quest markers we replaced all the writing with outdated memes and pop culture references.
That's your problem, not mine. Maybe you wouldn't be so rectum-ravaged if you'd just bought a console. Then you could spend more time playing vidya instead of babysitting the capricious machine spirit of your gaming rig.Have one of these and be unable to play new games, and you'll suddenly want to fight for games to be pure.
I think they had a lot of issues with trying to get the new developers onboard with Red Engine. They massively expanded, relatively speaking, after Cyberpunk. They're working on The Witcher 4, Cyberpunk's sequel, and some third game all at the same time right now, although I think they have a certain way of doing it where there's a core team, and a set of guys who just rotate from one project to another at development stages. The way their studio has talked about Red Engine makes it sound like that it was total spaghetti-code and difficult to onboard with. Now I am upset. All they needed to do was use the groundwork they'd already set for Cyberpunk 2077 and focus in on pertinent features now that they weren't struggling with figuring out what the game was going to be.

The engine is not a problem. Hell, Fallout3 invented V.A.T.S to cover up that the engine was pure horseshit.I wouldn't be surprised if so many of the old guard of Bethesda, who knew how the Creation Engine functioned, have fucked off or retired. Starfield was a disaster and even Fallout 4 felt like they were stretching the engine to its limits.
Exactly my point, think a decent chunk of people didn't play the one from 2006Oh how fun, no more ragdolls too
Gaming regresses even in remakes
False. I have a consistent track record of being pro-creation engine. The people bitching about UE5 in Nublivion would also have bitched if they'd stuck with Creation.
