I never got why you'd make Argonians and Khajiit digitigrade in Morrowind when they weren't in Arena and Daggerfall if you aren't going to remodel the boots and helmets so they can wear them too. Oblivion and Skyrim are arguably lazy (even though they're just going back to how they were in Arena/Daggerfall) but at least you aren't locked out of armor just for picking a beast race.

While Morrowind doesn't have an armor cap, having 200 points isn't twice as good as 100 points. At a certain point having a high armor rating isn't the best thing to have compared to the weight of the gear to have it, and it's before having a full set of daedric. But if you were the kind to want that anyway, you're not playing either of the beast races, because even taking what are you can wear out of the equation, neither are great sword and board races.

Getting back to the skeleton itself, yeah, Morrowind is the 1 out of 5 (or 6) main games to have Khajits and Argonians be that way. I appreciate the flavor. It wouldn't fix Skyrim, but at least it wouldn't be mushy and unseasoned white rice.

The actual armor value of gear is only half the reason you wear it. Beast races are basically locked out of two top tier enchanting slots.

In part yes, but is less when you're a Nord.
They didn't change any lines that are like 'you're not from around here are you?' or 'I forget you're new to Skyrim' before briefly info dumping you on something. I could roleplay that they're making baseless assumptions but it's not the smoothest experience.

I remember Raloff, the starter Stormcloak dude, would treat a female Nord player politely, as opposed to say a female Elf of one kind or another. It wasn't anything beyond stock dialogue, but it definitely made him seem nicer if you weren't a filthy foreigner.

Aren't most of those info dumps only done if you specifically ask them questions?

Which one of you is MenCantBeWomen69 and how are you not banned from reddit?

Why were there no Falmer ruins in Skyrim? It was a huge wasted opportunity.
The Atmorans wiped out all traces of snow elf civilization in Skyrim aboveground and then the dwemer got them addicted to Blackreach toxic insanity blindness causing fungus and enslaved them underground to the point of barbarity

Several Skyrim settlements are built over Falmer settlements and the Falmer have been gone so long and have so little traces of their existence that a lot of people think they were a myth. Safe to say the Atmorans wiped any Falmer settlement they didn't want to use themselves off the face of Nirn. Remember that the Dragon Cult is basically ancient, ancient history to the Nords and that was after the Atmorans wiped out the Falmer.

I thought the dragon cult was concurrent to the sacking of Saarthal? Ahzidal was a survivor and he's a dragon priest.

Going to try out ESO. Thinking an Argonian Necro sounds good.

Reserve your dead skin to make undead scales

The Dragon Cult probably began around that time, but it also seemed to be at its height when Nords were already spread across Skyrim if we take the word wall and Dragon Priest locations into account. We don't really know how long the Dragon Cult ruled over Skyrim, to be fair.

Serious question, I keep getting a 304 error when logging in, and so far none of the troubleshooting steps on the ESO website are correcting it. Anything not listed I could try before I request a refund?

You're trying to login to the EU server, I would presume? The "solution" seems to be to wait for 15 minutes before trying again or playing on another server.

Nope, NA. Had to give up and request a refund, despite not getting past character creation I somehow racked up 90 minutes trying to play.

It might be my hardware. Out of curiosity I had a friend come over and log into WoW and it did the same shit, it let him log in but booted him 1-2 minutes later. Having a tech come over tomorrow, my modem/router is both 4 years old and is rented and the phone technician saw some issues from their end

Skyblivion

Trailer dropped a while ago for this project. I'm still cautiously optimistic that it'll see the light of day before the heat death of the universe, and them working with the original game as a framework at least means they aren't going to POZ it up like the Beyond Skyrim team. What do you guys think?
