The Elder Scrolls

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Using this and this I've been able to keep 50+ frames indoors and 30 frames outdoors with various settings on low and medium(with resolution scale set to 100 even). There's probably a lot more stuff in engine.ini to toy with too.
I was joking, but I appreciate your honest answer. I gave up on TES as a franchise after the original Oblivion came out. Compared to Morrowind, it was a major letdown.

>Original runs like shit because 32bit
>Remaster runs like shit because UE5

Have you tried disabling Lumen?

In the first Ayeleid dungeon. I like it thus far. A polished up classic.

And yes, I'm on console. Get back to modding for your corporate masters, PCfags.
It's a disappointment how low peoples standards have gotten.
Who are you to dictate other people's opinions to them? When I want input from the perpetually unhappy greasy malcontents of the Internet, I will ask for it.

Bethesda has banned mods for Oblivion. Bethesda.
Looked into it, it's misleading. Not from the person who posted it, but from Bethesda themselves. Essentially it's some copy-paste EULA they didn't bother to change, they have the same exact one for Starfield with minor changes, "no mods" and all. They're that lazy. "No one reads the EULA" my ass.
It's a disappointment how low peoples standards have gotten.
Looking at the MHWilds thread, the Kingdom Cum in my Ass Twice thread, and various other threads here (hell just look at the internet as a whole) and uh...yeah they've been low for a while. People will defend far-left propaganda, ignore every slippery slope even if they find themselves sliding down it, and dump retarded amounts of money into something barely worth paying for just because it's new and shiny, especially if it's coming from an established IP. Don't bother with the Oblivion Remasturd crowd, as we've seen in this very thread they don't know how to even install a mod or two for the original, gaymers deserve the industry they prop up with their inane faggotry.
Sad part is, I'd care less if people enjoyed it (no point in proselytizing to niggercattle about why they should stop being niggercattle) if they weren't so obnoxiously brain dead about it.

Maybe they wouldn't be so uppity if you stopped calling them niggercattle for not treating every active decision in their lives as an activism moment. People in my experience tend to do things against their better judgement just to spite others when they might've come to the same conclusion as you if you'd just shut the hell up and let them.

I don't like this game, but besides the "type 1, type 2" body types in the character creator, how's oblivion woke? I've only played it for 3 hours.
Unless there's something dramatic I haven't noticed, that's about it. Redguard look more like actual black people, but they've always been black. The voice lines and everything are the same shit from the original, which was pre-woke, dudebro-positive era.

Anyone even considering playing this slop is a retard.
I am the target audience. More seriously, I am 4 hours in and I can't help but like it. Then again, I'm literally a 90 IQ trademan, I'm easy to please.

Running around and trying to survive on Master difficulty is fun. The leveled loots, however, are not fun. I'd like a mod for a more rewarding exploration. Old Oblivion had OOO but it was full of OC donnut steal and retarded out of lore bullshit. It was annoying as hell.

The original Oblivion has one of the best artstyles in gaming (outside of it's horrendous character models which can be fixed with the Character Overhaul mod), and this remaster absolutely butchers it. No idea how anyone can think it looks good, but these are probably the same people who though the Demon Souls remake looks better than the original.

Unmodded, Oblivion is ugly as fuck. That's what matters: what was sold. Community content made to fix what the developers couldn't do means the game is, as said before, ugly as fuck (and it's shit gameplay/story regardless of mods).
It's less obvious at low resolutions (like the 720p the 360 version ran at, or the 1200p everyone on PC was running at), but covering your monitor with Vaseline to imagine that blurry visuals look good is pure cope.
