I'd love to constantly put Chris in situations where he has to be assertive and see how he reacts. Well, of course he'll pussy out, but I'll love to see the gears turning in his head as he considers his options and ultimately decides to stress sigh and pussy out.
I wonder if Chris would nut up about, well, anything. I can only think of stuff like getting rid of vidya and even then it was easier because Jackie or Kacey or whoever weren't there in person.
What do you mean? That Chris would get mad and tell someone "no" if they insisted he get rid of his video games?

I know it'd never happen, but what if Barb decided she wanted Chris to get rid of his vidya? It'd be like an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object.

He'd probably get a fair bit of money for his old sonic games, and other obscure shit.

Chris would break out the PokeFlute and tell Barb she's no longer allowed field trips to the thrift store.
Barb would counterattack with tugboat theft.
Nah, nothing would happened. I feel like Barb is full of idle threats.

I think she knows better because her grip on at least a sated manchild is a lot stronger than one that is depressed and sad all the time and isn't even currently charmed by his vidya. I think Chris would be very, very angry, but would still puss out, as usual. But if she kept pushing him, who knows what would happen.

Edit: like, he'd be constantly sullen. Like a teenager that just got grounded. Though maybe she'd get back on his good side by trying to cuddle with him or something.

Probably a stupid question, bit I'm curious where you got that pickle suit from.

You're a real trooper Marvin.

I've just given his collection a quick look, and as far as I can see there's literally nothing of any decent value in it at all. That's almost impressive in itself because you'd think that with the sheer volume of purchases he's made, he'd at least accidentally stumble across something rare, or something that would have increased in value.

Even if he did have anything valuable, the condition of the NES games he pawned off indicates they would likely be in poor condition. And smell weird.

Much like their former owner

The thing is, apart from an obvious like of the Sonic franchise, there's absolutely no coherency to the collection. This suggests to me that he purchased a lot of them second hand as impulse buys, purely because they were cheap.

Only Chris could attain so much treasure that turns out to be shit.

I suppose it could be argued that as long as he finds value in it, then that's all that matters.

I'd be willing to bet that if we could see some sort of record as to when this stuff was bought, you'd see a huge spike in acquisition when he got full control of the tugboat. Maybe he was just trying to make up for not being able to have a lot of this stuff when he was a kid.

I liked how "Wanna see Watchmen?" lured Emily away. I realize it wasn't in the plan but I would love to hear Chris's reaction if he was also invited.
I'd need to sit between them. That wouldn't go over well with Chris.
I kind of wish Chris had balled up and decided to go with, just so you could have done so. I can imagine him trying to sneak in, only to get mad when you "beat" him to it.

I bet if it were a situation where she was sitting on the aisle, he'd actually sit in the aisle if the seat next to her was taken.

But he doesn't find value in it, not really. He just buys and buys and buys, and then most of his crap just sits on his shelf or in his PSN account, unused and forgotten. He only acquires more because he can, with no thought given to whether or not he should.

It would have played out like the situation on the School bus all those years ago when the other kid tried to beat him to being first off the bus. You would've had a fight on your hands Marvin!

God, I've now got an image in my mind of an obese, clown-shirted autistic, man-baby, inarticulately squealing whilst limp-wristedly flailing away at a guy dressed as a massive pickle in the middle of a crowded cinema.

I've been thinking, since Chris thought that sex happened on the third date, did he believe a kiss was supposed to happen on the first? That could be why Chris suddenly tried to kiss Emily at the end.

That's a good point.

Is Chris familiar with the bases? Like, maybe he thinks first date first base, second date second base, third date third base, then fourth date sex. It would be just like Chris to try to steal home every time though.

Same logic in terms of giving prisoners TVs in their cells.

That would add to his rage.

Yeah, that might be his thinking. Although it's funny, Chris is autistic enough that he really would want to stick to his third date rule. He wouldn't want sex before then. It's really bizarre and surprising to me.

Ahaha, I forgot about that. Oh man, we totally should've actually gone to see watchmen and invited Chris. We'd be getting grunts and stress sighs when he sees the blue dong.

When he saw that dick, he would have just looked away with a moment of being FREAKED OUT.
