Same way you do Emmy...and everything else

Master Yellow Materia + HP Absorb
Counter + Mime
HP Plus.

Cast Omnislash with Cloud, Master Command and HP Absorb make Normal Attacks and Limit breaks absorb HP.

You now have a Cloud that will counter most attacks with an Omni-Slash that will Heal him to full every attack, and can Omni-Slash every action because you have Mime which can Mime Limit Breaks.

I fear it. Not his death, but this remaster. God knows they're going to fuck it up. They're going to fuck the script to "appeal" to modern "sensibilities", and all the emotion and build up is going to go in the toilet. You just fucking know it.

Besides the DLC ending shows that Midgar is now normal and the whole Sephiroth fight was a delusion made by the time jannies. A bad acid trip is not the end of the world.

Because this is A. only Part 1 of a game, so having an epic fight against DESTINY is dumb as fuck. And B, yes its just a time janny hallucination, and it was obvious even after beating the main game that it was some weird trick. Doesn't change the fact that Sephiroth shouldn't have showed up so soon.

The ending of Part 1 is only good if it proves consequential. The break of patiently built anticipation for our villain is already done. Can’t be resown. Has to move forward into the new.

Women came later at around Final Fantasy 9, because they kept trying to find something cutsey wutsey that would rhyme with Zidane and couldn't.

It's their fault that Sephiroth is there. If there was nothing that could fuel their social media fan-fiction they would leave.

It's pretty clear at this point it's a sequel and the build up is to how shit is different. Aerith is self aware as is Sephiroth. This becomes pretty apparent with the Jenova fight at the Shinra HQ.

The DLC has stuff from the spinoffs so we're already getting the Council of The Gay Sephiroth Clones Whomst Quote Poetry™.

I am legit excited to see them incorporate elements from all the side story's into the remake. They already mentioned Kunsel, so it would be great to see all the side characters from Crisis Core and Before Crisis added to the plot.


Not to mention an expanded role for Deepground from Dirge. Shinra is going to have to up their game considering how much stronger Cloud is.

It also would be neat to see what they were doing in the OG timeline if Ever Crisis decides to explore that.

I hated the first one; the combat was awful and shit (even though I recognize that most people will like and enjoy it) and I won't bother with the next one. They told me I was getting a remake of FF7, not a reimagining.

I'll stick with the original. Am up to Cosmo Canyon currently.

Fair enough. I love the original, but I got the incentive to play it though advent children and KH . So im excited to see what new things Nomura and co will do to the story.


For better or worse I dont think they will play it safe.

Nomura took a game about going on adventures with Goofy and Donald Duck and turned it into the most inscrutable plotline ever.

I wouldn't really call him good but it will be interesting to see how the hell this shapes out.
