The censored outfit is the same one that they're using for Rebirth.

I wouldn't put it past Nomura's autism that this inconsistency be repaired on his orders.

It's not the only change. Apparently they altered a line aerith says in English to line up more with the actual jap text.

I buy it being Nomura autism. This is not the first time this has happened

It's lines up more with the jap version but I believe she straight up says she hates it in that.


Honestly there's enough precedent I'm gonna handwave the tifa thing as a fluke. You barely see her for more then a min in that flashback anyway. Reminds me of somebody using noclip in the original KH and found out kairi had fully modeled panties or something? They took that out for the final mix version that released in Japan a year later.

Lately Nomura and co have George lucased a handful of scenes in kh3 (largely for the better). mostly just changing lighting, textures and models in the ending and for some reason adding a 30 second voiceover cutscene in the Melody of memory song game.

People are theorizing they are experimenting with adding secrets post game via the patches. I'm not sure it's so grandiose but it is interesting. They did add a patch to cut off the ending of kh3 to prevent spoilers from being leaked pre launch. I suspect they did the same with rebirth.

It's likely the leaks are incomplete.

No need to go around in circles my guy. Its censorship, plain and simple. And rather unnecessary censorship at that.

I did go all over the place there. My point is if they keep the big tit, full skin, bathing suits it's an overreaction to bitch about something that apparently wasn't even supposed to be in the original version.

I Hate censorship like covering up an enemy or playing down Jill's story in 16, but I couldn't care less about anything underage.

Apparently no one managed to get their hands on it, which is surprising when it comes to any new game that releases. FFXVI got leaked the fuck out of a week before release.

There's a guy whose been streaming the entire game early - I think he's live now. I've been sort of checking in and out, don't wanna ruin too much for myself. His streams keep getting nuked. I'll put the link in a spoiler in case anyone's interested but they do keep getting taken down :lol: I'm excited for the game, I think it will have the awful story beats again like remake but will overall be fantastic. Everytime I've tuned in here and seen part of the story it's felt actually quite nostalgic. Last I looked he was at Gold Saucer but that was a few hours ago. I'd say only check it out if you're okay with being spoiled.
