Yesterday I was in a jury pool for a civil case, but I didn't get chosen. Funnily enough the court reporter was wearing the color cyan.

Today I was raking leaves in the cool, cool, wind! It was HARD WORK.
Thankfully my leaves are now under 7 inches of snow.
It's so pretty!!!
...plows here
...there's the sand
.....aaaannnndddd it's ugly now.

I was actually worried about having something wrong with my teeth lately. Turns out I'm just getting my wisdom teeth. :/ I don't get what the big deal is about going to the dentist. Frankly, I love it.

You need to watch this next.

Trust me, it's actually the absolute best thing you will ever watch in your life.

So my father is sort of a big, fat coward when it comes to maintaining his health with yearly physicals and dental work. Well, he had to be admitted into the ER on Saturday due to a tooth abscess that has spread throughout his mouth. Apparently, being an ass is his way of showing he's frightened. He's been rude to the oral surgeons by never saying a single word, he kept whining about how 'I'm not going to Perfect Teeth, they scarred me!' when he knew very well and clear that he was going to an oral surgeon... He has to have fourteen teeth removed, six of them immediately, but he has a very high blood pressure right now and because of his inability to comply with the doctor's requirements, he has to wait another week before the surgeon can do anything. Fortunately it is not nearly as bad as it could be, but his attitude has been incredibly insufferable. I sincerely wish I could describe how much of an arse this man has been.

On an unrelated, lighter note, I've finally watched Sharknado. It has been a while since I cried from laughter, it feels delightful.

I was really hoping that it would have Santa beating the shit out of martians. (:_(

Kind of upset that I got straight B's this semester, but hey, there's always next year, right? And it's all going to be math and science, so there's no reason for me to not make A's.

Black Cat Detective, man. You, me, and Hunger Mythos need to have a Skype party and watch all five glorious episodes again some time.

I am convinced that some deity is out to prevent my family from a somewhat adequate Christmas this year. On top of my father needing surgery next week, the car broke down and my mother just spent five hundred dollars to fix it, only to have to take it in hours later for the same problem they said they had fixed. His surgery is going to be two thousand, and I am hoping that there will be no surprise charges for this car complication. We have already had enough trouble, and with the lack of funds, food is becoming a bit of a complication; I already dropped a dangerous amount of weight from when he went to the ER, so I suppose the lack of food works out well enough as I will not be eating much? I am just worried about their well being; mother is stressed out, father is completely unnerved about needing dental work... It is not nearly as poor as the predicaments others have, and I am thankful that at the very least we have what we have, but this is not a very pleasant time of year.

I just got a job offer in Maryland the other day. Yay!

I'll probably be living in or near Columbia. Who can I visit someday? <3

Christmas is the only time of the year I feel like a normal person, and have fun. Is that strange?

Happy Winter Solstice! It's the shortest day and longest night in the year in the northern hemisphere! The days will lengthen from here on out!

Or if you're in the southern hemisphere, Happy Summer Solstice! It's the longest day and shortest night of the year! The days will get shorter from here on out!

As everyone always says, "Christmas is that time of year". Maybe it's not as strange as you think.

There's this guy on another forum that's pissing me off. I'm not sure if he's actively trying to avoid addressing the points I made directly or he buys into the excuses he has for why (show) sucked. Right now, he's bent on believing that how much he personally enjoyed a show is a sign of it's production quality.

I got back from watching the Hobbit.

I agree with the people who want to wait and watch them all at the same time. This one ended with the classic cliff hanger ending. But of course good will prevail in the end.

Holy shit these mechanics are incompetent. Pardon my language, but we have had to take this vehicle in three god forsaken times for the same problem, I am convinced they did jack nothing. First thing tomorrow morning, we're getting our money back, and I'm drop kicking their manager.

I feel like my fb friends (especially the ones who are new moms with 1 braincell left) wouldn't get sick as often if they washed their hands more.

I've had to block about three people on facebook because they have small children and either them or the kids are always "sick". Like, I don't know if it's a ploy for attention, bad hygiene, or what but it makes me really sad for those kids.

That's exactly what I'm talking about.

I need to find more fb friends who don't have kids. I'm so tired of being bombarded by kid posts every day. :C
