So I found an exercise bike (the one that sits low and you pedal on it, its more comfortable than the traditional ones) for free sitting in a church parking lot Friday. I stopped for it, and while I was struggling to get it in my suv while wearing platforms, I twisted my damn ankle and almost fell and had the damn bike fall on me. aagh just typing that gave me the willies. So I hurt myself trying to get something in my car that is supposed to help me. ok.

You know, A Christmas Story is a film I can't stand. Something about it just rubbed me the wrong way. I mean, it's Christmas and I want some goddamn escapism. It was always too real and unpleasant for me. I haven't watched it in a long time, mainly through deliberate avoidance, but I'm going to try and watch it this year. Maybe I'll see what the hubbub is about or at least be better able to articulate my dislike.
