It's really telling how they picked the two main female characters in the movie and made one black and the other fat. Not to rag too hard on this girl cause she's just 19, but she'll never be Astrid.

But remember, it was "cultural appropriation" for White actors to voice the animals in Disney's 'The Lion King' even though it wasn't made by Africans. Even though the animators were predominantly White and even though it was based on a Shakespearean play.

Does it matter, not really. This is a goyslop remake of a kids movie that no one will see.

I don't understand these live action remakes.
Why would anyone want to watch them? It's literally just the same story as the animated movie only live action.
I don't understand how watching something in live action is something worth rebooting a series over.

Dean means well, sadly, as choosing actors based on talent and embodiment of the spirit of the character was true up until race relations suddenly tanked and the white genocide agenda got more apparent. You can't have cast callings be super specific anymore without being accused of discrimination.

Am I really supposed to believe Dean when he says he couldn't find one singular blonde woman who could be a convincing Astrid?
This wouldn't be so aggravating if it really were a matter of finding the best for the job without caring about physical appearance, but these last years have made it extremely obvious that this is being done out of hatred for whites, not for the sake of the movie (also, have you noticed how it's almost always blonde or redheaded women who get race swapped? It's rarely men or brunettes).
