The Last of Us Franchise - Because it's apparently a franchise now. This thread has been double-DMCA’d by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

New character models look way too clean and well groomed to be 20 years into the post apocalypse.
Another retcon from Druckmann.

Instead of a post apocalypse with scarcity and poverty it's a cozy apocalypse in which there are burritos, pain killers, dogs that aren't intended to be eaten and women with a bodybuilder build.

All of the above and more are in TLOU 2.

I told you all for a long time and I'll keep saying it. Cuckmann drove ND to the ground making his fetish intentionally shitting on the original out of jealousy sequel. Everyone worth their salt left and ever since ND has been producing and will produce... Nothing! You can go back to see that I said at most they'll manage to make part 2 DLC and even that would be a stretch.

And they've done even less which I said was possible. 1 patch to change set_framerate_cap = 30; to 60 (literally, that's all it takes to make the game 60 FPS on PS5) and that took 1 bloody year. Since that? A re-re-make of 1 because 2 was a huge financial failure in relative terms and in popularity. Which is now a de-make because they can't do fucking anything right. Its a retexture of the same game except now the textures look worse. No muh texture resolution is not all a texture needs to be. No multiplayer which already existed in 1 and was in development pre-2 launching for 2. (leaks ITT)

ND is dead and just a scam run by Cuckmann to see how long he can keep getting paid for doing nothing.

That will be $70 please.
Can't say I'm surprised since I knew this was going to happen the moment they announced a remake to a game less than 10 years old. But it does help to reinstate how much of a scum bag and pathological liar Neil Druckmann is.

One of the things I find really really really funny is that literally everyone at Naughty Dog fucking hates Druckman so there is absolutely no way to narrow down who the leaker is. They never found out who leaked TLOU2 and they probably won't find whoever did this, it might even be the same person.

Also known as "there will be journalist mode, and Stealth will be over powered just like in the sequel"

Do people actually like the Last of Us II or do they just pretend to show how progressive they are or whatever? Sometimes I will look up the play history of people who defend games like this and they either don't have the game played at all or only have a few hours at most played and have like 1 or 2 trophies unlocked.
i mean i dont doubt there are people who actually liked the game. gameplay itself is fine if you like combat and urbex stuff

I didn't try it so I can't tell anymore. As you know the gaming press is not reliable these days and there are many cases where shitty games get good reviews and praise for having woke elements in them while good games can get bad ratings for having "problematic" content. I'm just wondering if this is another case where people feel a duty to defend it for being woke.

Sites like What Culture have gotten passive aggressive over how the fans reacted to it.

Imagine having your ass blasted over leaks & "spoilers" of a 9 year old game's remake, one that doesn't appear to change anything beyond superficial shit (I'll go a step further and call this a glorified remaster) and some journalist options. If anything, they should be pissed off at Naughty Dog for borderline false advertisement and charging premium for less content (I don't care if the multiplayer wasn't that special, charging an extra $10 for less content is horseshit).

Come to think of it, this eerily reminds me of the lead up to the Grand Theft Auto Trilogy "Definitive" Edition. Both were revealed with trailers that showed very little actual gameplay, neither had any official gameplay trailers (although in fairness, there's still a month to go for this), and both leaked to reveal just how underwhelming the end products are.

I doubt this game will be anywhere near as broken as GTA was, but this looks like a glorified remaster of a game that already had one.
