Do you foresee any potential for this tool to become a security risk?

I don't mind this solution, but are there security concerns, however remote they could be?

The mining pool has a very vested interest in making sure their code is unmalicious. I can't imagine it being anything more than it is. They can't do anything worse than a regular JS file could, but if they became malicious I'd simply remove their code.

I've had worse shit from Forbes

Also, Piratebay has tried to do this, but it was hogging up to 100% of your CPU. Nothing like that yet. My laptop still says I'm at a typical 20% max.

They run theirs at 0% idle. We do 75% idle.

So if I idle on KF does it make you money or do I have to actively browse?

Idling works as long as your computer is on. If you keep chat open 24/7 you're also mining for that time.
