I’m sting here just waiting to see the ratings for this years All-Star Game since I know no one actually watched that except for the hundreds of influencers that the NBA hired to keep posting about the game onto X.

Spo is a god tier HC, I would go so far as to say that if it wasn’t for him and the Heat being in the city of Miami, Pat Riley would have been out of a job years ago. Look at how many undrafted guys he turned into good or at least playable roleplayers. Max Strus, Caleb Martin before he left for Philly, Gabe Vincent before he left for the Lakers, Haywood Highsmith, Duncan Robinson, and Dru Smith just to name a few. Most if not all of those guys would be out of the league now if it wasn’t for his coaching, and a lot of them haven’t rebounded since leaving Miami.

Nico is just a genuine retard. Before he was even in an NBA front office, he was an exec at Nike, and famously blew the company's pitch to Steph so badly that Steph signed with UnderArmour instead. He's been an inept piece of shit for maybe his entire life.

Russ just wants to win and compete with no bullshit attached. Despite the reddit chungus memes about him being fat and going to strip clubs every time, Harden is the same except he's a pragmatist who treats the NBA like a job. Add that those three developed and bonded together as young players and you can see why he respects them.

The problem is when he started team-hopping, he never really could develop that same level of closeness since he was always the 'big piece who was gonna push this team to contention' and never the main guy as he was on the Sonics and Thunder. The Warriors didn't need him to win, he was just redundancy added to the already almost-unstoppable Hampton Five. He was just one of the guy in the Kyrie-Harden big three at Brooklyn since Kyrie ran point and still held the ball most of the time. He's just back up for Sengun and Ausar in Houston right now. Despite ironically having one of the most plug-and-play NBA skillsets we've ever seen, this doesn't apply to his integration into team chemistry as he is a loner (and an internet-brained asshole) by nature.

nwver chose sports teams in Atlanta. As a heat fan it was the best choice I made as they have championships. Atl has the braves which are as anti black as can be and they have at least 2. The day the hawks won I truly believe there will be an apocalypse

Yeah, now that you say that, Embiid did look equally promising and then started collecting injuries. The human frame just can't take that kind of punishment for so long. Although Kareem did manage it back when medicine wasn't as advanced so maybe he can.

Wembanyama reminds me a lot of Ralph Sampson, who was tracking as well as Hakeem before the injuries hit. He only had three good seasons of high production before that happened and the drop off was fairly precipitous. I hope Wemby gets a longer career than that but I would be amazed if he has a long, healthy career. Even Yao, who was built way more solidly than Wemby, did not have more than three or four good seasons before shit went south.
