Too busy imagining someone in Honolulu getting up at 3am to watch a couple of shitters that in the grand scheme of things are basically deciding what their positions in the draft are gonna be.

So apparently, it is leaking now because of the audit of the Redskins taking place that 10 years ago while a member of the Redskins, Gruden send Demarcus Smith an email with some racially charged language.

"Dumboriss Smith has lips the size of michellin tires.”

Again, we are just hear about this now after 10 years.

Expect Gruden to be relieved of duties any time now.

Lmao Gruden's response where he said he calls all liars "rubber lips" is the funniest transparently bullshit response to a racial controversy I've ever heard.

Imagine waking up at 8:30 in the morning to watch this bullshit.
i literally told my co-worker they did early NFL games last year and she said that wasn't true. she checked with her bf and everything. fucking cunt.

congrats on the NFL forcing the worst teams to play at a shitty time. if it werent for the "fans" who'd get fucked on scheduling i'd want this for every team. "oh both of you are 1-9 and wont make playoffs, your game is at 7AM in Glasgow, Montana. try not sucking next season" meanwhile the Patriots get SNF every week of the season. or at least the brady patriots would have. And the amount of commercials would vary too, each game would need $X worth of commercials, so the brady patriots would have about 10 minutes per hour, if that. while the boys in Glasgow would have about 2 minutes between each play. this game is going to last somewhere in the realm of 6 hours. no delays either, people would love an old school snow game. Hope you enjoy playing in below freezing temperatures.

This MIA-TB game has been fun. Being a Brady fanboy I of course expect Tampa Bay to win, and they're currently up by 14 in the third, but the Dolphins are playing competently enough that it doesn't look like the game is over yet - they've been holding their own better than the score indicates.

tom brady always sucked aganist miami, it was one of the few times betting on 5/1 would be considered smart money.

Anyone notice how the cameras showing the touchdowns and walking down the field after the kickoff remind them of cameras from the Madden games?

I happened to noticed that during the Bengals and Packers game, most of the touchdown celebrations had the cameras zooming in on the players while everything in the background was blurred out.

Real life NFL games are the new Madden games. It’s been confirmed.

Now I don’t have to spend $60+ on a game that is not even remotely finished from a gameplay standpoint.

Okay, yeah, it's not just me then. In this MIA-TB game that camera seems to have a really shallow depth-of-field which causes everything more than ten feet away to look all blurry. I was knocking it up to a technical issue but if they're doing it on purpose (which seems to be the case if it's happening on multiple games), it's annoying bullshit.

That's something they've been doing for about a year now. They also do it in basketball. I'm guessing it was from during covid and designed to focus in on the player and blur out the background when there were no fans in the stadiums/arenas. It's an interesting shot if used sparingly, but they seemed to have switched to that as a default camera shot all over the sports television business.

Vikings steal a win using a field goal. The lions remain cursed. They gave Kirk Cousins 37 seconds and he somehow got the ball into field goal range in that time.

What a shitshow.

To think that one of the best games today involved the Cleveland Browns. I would've never guessed this type of firepower last year with just 1 game. Baker has improved as a passer

This Sunday night game (Bills at Chiefs) is being delayed at halftime due to a thunderstorm in Kansas City. The poor talking heads are having to stall by talking even more about the earlier games today. I always thought at least to some degree this banter was pre-written for them, but maybe I haven't given them enough credit - they're doing a good job on their own.

Ah, now the game commentators are back and showing clips from earlier in this game that they've shown before…

Edit: Michelle Tafoya is talking about the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches that the Chiefs ate during the break and now the talking heads are talking about how a proper PB&J should be cut.

And there's going to be 10 more minutes of this at minimum. :stress:

So the game is now 31-13 after Mahomes throws a pick-6.

I know "it's the Chiefs", they could come back from this... but man, it sure doesn't feel like we're watching "those Chiefs". They look like they're in a lot of trouble here.

Edit: And now he's been picked off again in the Red Zone. This is bad.

I'm no Bills fan, but I'm enjoying watching the Chiefs offense get royally fucked on National TV. I still think they're the 2nd best team in their division after the Chargers, but having no defense won't win you a superbowl, just ask Aaron Rodgers how that's worked out for him in the decade since SB 45.

And there it is. The Bills recover a fumbled snap and slay the Chiefs by 18.

Those numbers they've been destroying guys by aren't padded. Pray they have mercy on your team if they're next.

Edit: Looking at their schedule, I'm not seeing how they don't win the 1st seed. The most challenging game they have is against Tampa. Otherwise they have the Dolphins, Colts, Saints, Jaguars, Titans, Panthers, Jets, Falcons, Patriots; all of these are absolutely winnable, if not cakewalks.

I took way too much pleasure in watching Tyrann Mathieu repeatedly throw his hands up in exasperation at their secondary.
The Bills and Browns are two juggernaut teams in the AFC. I love the turnaround this league can have, even if it means my team's window is finally closing.
