The Broncos are throwing the Saints this year's first (from Miami for Chubb) and next year's second to acquire the rights to Sean Payton
If Russ is still ass next year I have to imagine George Paton is shitcanned. That's 3 years of firsts AND seconds wrapped up in a washed QB and a retread HC.
I’m a broncos fan and agree with whatever poster on PFT said something to the effect of “in a couple years, the Broncos will be the Rams but without a SB ring”. I wanted a chance on a young guy who either failed or succeeded but if he succeeded would be there for a decade plus. Hope this works out!

E: ^^ fuck, I didn’t even think about that.

Seat so hot it's currently fusing to his ass cheeks.

That's why I'm surprised Payton took this. He's no stranger to bad teams, but the Saints didn't really have high expectations. With the Broncos he's gonna be thrown into win now mode immediately in an absolute hell division.

He now has the space of one off-season to install a new offense that fixes Russ and gets an actual run game going with few picks and not a whole lot of cap space. He picked Expert+ difficulty so let's see if he can pull it off.

I'll believe it if he's not on a roster in September. He's really channeling latter Favre with the retirements, even moreso than Rodgers.
Also I hope he isn't done just because I've been lowkey rooting for him to blow Blanda's record as the oldest player out of the water and he only needs 2 more years to do it.

My friend, have you ever heard of this thing called 'radio'?

I haven't really paid attention to the NFL for a few years now; they've made it clear they don't want me as a customer, so why should I give them the business?
Bruh I'm trying to get to the point of just appreciating watching it. Why the heck would you sit there and listen to someone just describing stuff that's going on?

You heard it first from me but Brady will come back to the NFL only if Aaron Rodgers is coming back. I'm sick and tired of people using retirement as headlight fuel only for them to come back the following week.

The word lost all of its meaning especially in both sports and music. An artist (like Nicki Minaj) says they are going to retire from the industry then comes back 5 years because their bank account is drained.

It's not like the good old days when somebody retired from a company and stayed retired look at John Madden he could have kept going until his dying breath but retired to spend time with his grandkids and never came back.

I would like to announce my upcoming suicide.

For some reason, I caught a glimpse of TV where NFL Network showed the QB Challenge during the Pro Bowl. After watching it, I dare say that it looked fun.

Brady, and Elon share one trait anything to avoid seeing their kids. Lol. He's going to come back on a dollar store salary and make a 3rd rate team bank selling shirts.

My eagles got this shit. I think we're better off playing KC? That shove man probably cost Bengals what I assume would be an OT win.

Either way morale is high teams flying. I feel good.

Also holy shit I almost feel bad for 49ers 43% team is free agents. Jfc.

Raiders gonna raider. They either fork over a bunch of money to a QB they no longer want, adding more issues to an already cash strapped team. Or they release him and get nothing for him signing elsewhere. Probably should sit on their hands for another week or two and just see what happens lol

They’re not going to move on him IMO. Carr is in the driver’s seat and the worst case for him involves weird signing bonus negotiations that let the Raiders trade him with a low cap number.

I think that’s right… I play a lot with corporate finance but NFL finance is really fucked up.

I'm with Carr on this one. He's been a team player the entire time and never caused drama like a Kyler Murray or Aaron Rodgers. The Raiders have continued to be an incompetent organization since he's been there with horrible coaching signings like Gruden and now McDaniels, who has shown that he still sucks at being a HC despite having a decade to have supposedly learn from his mistakes.

The rest of the owners already hate the Davis family, they should just force Mark to sell the team. He's out there making the Spanos and Halas/McKaskey families look competent.

Depends on if he can get a better contract in free agency. If he got traded his $121.5m three year contract would go with him.

Worst case would him somehow only being offered a job from the Jets who get him on a $30m one year prove it deal or something. I doubt that would be the case though. Saints are interested, Jets will be interested if they can't lure Rodgers, Panthers, Bucs, Commanders and Falcons will all probably be interested. He'll have teams competing to grab him.

I see Carr in a Bucs uniform for some reason.
I like Carr but he's probably not going to join the dumpster fire.

We need to stick with Trask to lure Brian Johnson over here. He was Trask's OC at UF. Bowles is probably out after next season so there's a HC opportunity. It's a good spot for him.

If Trask turns out to be good that's cool, otherwise we'll let the guy who developed Hurts unleash a new QB we picked up from the draft after we get like two wins.
