Good news! The Cardinals finally have new uniforms.

Too bad they look like fuckin shit.
One day they will stop trying to look like off-brand Falcons/Commanders and realize what every other Arizona team learned. That the desert environment and their state flag gives them unique colors not commonly used in the NFL and they should lean into that.
That day doesn't come until after Bidwell sells the team or a more competent child of his takes over a la the Bengals, but one day.

Aaron Rodgers is officially goin got the NY Jets.

Jets will Receive: Aaron Rodgers, Pick 15 2023, 2023 5th Round pick (No. 170)

Packers Receive: Pick 13 2023, 2023 2nd round pick (No. 42), a 6th round pick (No. 207), a conitional 2024 2nd round pick that becomes a 1st if Aaron Rodgers plays 65% of plays.

AFC East is now the best on paper division in football.

Ok now I am curious as to what the other deals on the table were for this trade. Because this seems like a middle of the road trade with no clear winner to be seen yet

>Buffalo: Josh Allen
>Patriots: Mac Jones
>Miami: Tua Tagovailoa
>Jets: Aaron Rodgers
1 good one for sure, Wait and see how Tua does the coming year, Matt Jones regressed and washed out Rodgers aka Brett Favre 2.0

At best 2 out of 4, not sure Matt Jones might get better and Aaron Rodgers who i seriously doubt starts playing and is on the JETS . even on paper I'm not as sure as you
Edit: Fixed post

After the draft I would love to see this thread make tierlists of the teams/divisions going into the next season. Not W/L records just where we think everyone will end up.

Mac Jones is also not burdened by Patricia's retarded play-calling anymore. Bill O'Brien hopefully knows what he is doing, and he has worked with Mac before. I'll agree that Mac has never really risen above the level of 'meh', but I'm willing to give him one more chance.

I forgot Matt Patricia was gone, do they still have Joe Judge?

Unrelated questions: Which team you think pulls the most desperate pick, who pulls the dumbest pick?

Desperate: Titans trading the farm for a QB or Cowboys trying to trade up for Bijan
Dumbest: Raiders, going by history and considering the Browns don't have a day 1 pick for a while.

If the Texans didn't have #2 I'd say them because Caserio's seat is boiling right now

It pretty much shakes out to GB eating a ton of dead cap in exchange for a second this season and a first next season.

I'm pretty sure the Jets win here.
Gotta see who the packers draft, how they work out, and how Rodgers play to see who wins this draft

Gonna have to agree with @Absolutego and say that the Titans are the most desperate, now that the Panthers have already traded up

Dumbest pick is going to go to whoever drafts a running back in the first round

Patricia raped a woman then intimidated her into oblivion on the eve he was about to be charged yet he has an illustrious coaching career. At this point I wouldn't trust BB with my lunch order.

Jets gonna win it all next year. Not this year. They'll win a playoff game, maybe get to the championship, but it won't be until next season when they ascend to the highest peak and rub it in Green Bay's face. Holy Lord do I despise that team and its fanbase. The Texans fanbase is pretty crap, too, but they're mostly delusional while Green Bay is spoiled and faggy.

I think the only way the Jets win the trade is if they go to a superbowl. They dont have to win it, just go back and actually be a top team in the league. Otherwise they gave up draft picks to just end their playoff drought and will be right back where they were before the trade with Zach Wilson.

Honestly just think they need to get to the playoffs for 2 years and maybe win a game or two for this to be break even for a trade. There's not a chance in hell the Jets would be able to draft a good QB so trying to trade for a known QB is probably their best chance right now

I know the Jets expectations are low where that will probably make the fanbase happy, winning a playoff game or two and actually being competitive. I still think its alot given up just to end their playoff drought. I think its similar to the Stafford trade, why give up all that if you can't win the superbowl? I know the Rams gave up more for Stafford but this is a trade made to win the superbowl. If the Rams never won the superbowl, then the trade was not really worth it.
New Yorkers do have a tendency to hype up the fact that their new favorite All-Star champion player will take them to the championship. First Rodgers becomes a Jet, and now the Knicks are moving to the second round of their playoffs in over 10 years.

I can’t speak for all New Yorkers, but we need to calm down before we are jinxed.
Jets fans will get disappointed in some way, that franchise is cursed. Jets will miss the playoffs, give up next years first round pick, and have Rodgers retire after one year.

Another aspect you guys aren't considering, when it comes to Jets fandom expectations, is that both them and the team seem to be banking on Rodgers' presence being the thing that winds up fixing Zach Wilson after he shat the bed as a rookie starter.
I think if he winds up being somewhere in the 10-20 rankings as a QB post-Rodgers they'd consider the trade worth it, even if Aaron continues his tradition of choking in the playoffs.
