Who do we want in the Movable Object vs Stoppable Force Game? (Browns v Dolphins)

@Trombonista I imagine you want the Browns, but curious about everyone else. I feel like Myles Garret might actually deliver the coup de grǎce onto Tua. Tua might be free from the Dolphins and Zach Wilson inherit his cursed position.
Best option is a tie with Gabriel having a terrible game. More Miami drama and bad press conferences, Browns' owner throws in Sanders after having six martinis watching the game.

I know UTree uses it for Pittsburgh, but the alt-version of "The Standard is the Standard" applies to the Browns to do the dumbest things possible and never learn.

I honestly want so many turnovers that they throw in Zach Wilson and Shadeur. Just an incredibly awful game.

I'm actually predicting the Dolphins to win.
Ah, moneyline, check. For purely scientific purposes, how many points are you predicting will be scored? Let me think of a completely random, arbitrary number. Uhhhh, let's say 34.5. Are we predicting the total point scored that came will be over or under that meaningless number I selected by chance?

Honestly a Shadeur game where he finally is brought in and immediately gets clobbered by a bottom quadrant NFL defense would be the most entertaining, not for the game per se (unless you just really like watching a nepo kid run into the brick wall of reality, but I think he's had plenty of that already tbh, he can't still be holding big delusions of grandeur, can he?), but because the rationalization pretzels his fans convinced there's a conspiracy against him would contort themselves into after the game would be impressive.

I feel like watching Tua turn into Antonio Brown after Myles Garret temporarily dislocates Tua’s soul from his body. And then, being told “Dillion sprained his bussy, it’s time for your first snap” and watching the Dolphins defense show a full blitz would be the best course.

Not for Tua, but for the sport. I hope it’s on a late slide and the NFL is forced to penalize QBs for sliding late.

One would think every preseason game besides the first one, AND not even being good enough to be the scout team QB would be a sign. Like seriously. Stefanski doesn't even think Shedeur can pretend to he an NFL QB.

Unfortunately, Shedeur has two things going against him. He's Deion Sanders's son and he's black. So not only could you convince him he's a anything that is not literally happening in the moment (blacks lack of abstract thought), but Deion raised Shedeur to think he's Deion 2.0. I honestly feel bad about the latter because Shedeur was professionally coddled his entire football career. How the hell could you even fix that?

If the NFL is trying to increase the appeal of football in other countries, they need to start sending better games overseas. Trevor Lawrence looks like absolute dogshit.

EDIT: Holy shit, Duval going for it on 4th down well within field goal range and they keep failing. 3rd time today.

Give Liam credit I guess for believing in the Jaguars when nobody else will lol.
As to the first point, I have been told multiple times that there's a reason the Jaguars most often play in Tottenham. Apparently the Hotspurs are one of the most consistently underachieving EPL teams that aren't battling relegation.

Wew lad what a hit

I will say it until the cows come home. Slides are inherently dangerous due to how retarded they are. The original rule got weaponized, but it was always retarded. Defenders have a second to respond to someone going “teehee, play is over!” The position defenders go into is either to get the center of mass or hips, the slide means the QB literally puts their head in the path of a charging defender.

It causes more concussions. Penalize the “dual threat” QBs for doing it while surrounded.

24-6 Cleveland. Is this the game that gets the dork fired?
IDK. I don't want @Trombonista to get fired. I mean, sure, they took the moneyline on the Dolphins, but there's still a quarter left to hit the over on 34.5. I say give 'em a second chance!

Edit: The Browns got a TD, so give the janny a second chance! How were they supposed to know the Dolphins would be a disaster??

Unless you mean McDaniel. The yeah, probably. The Titans already busted the 'First coach to get fired' cherry, and it's not like the the player's aren't already running the asylum. Hell, if wouldn't be the most shocking thing if Dolphins looked halfway competent for a handful of games if/when they axe McDaniel during the season. Though that'd imply they have enough talent to appear competent in the first place.

Who're their options as interim head coach? Frank Smith is their OC. Never heard of him. 22 years of coaching experience, but not as a head coach. Anthony Weaver is their DC. Less experience as a coach, but he's a former player and teams tend to look halfway competent when a former player is the interim. Their other options are to promote some random position coach or assistant if neither coordinator wants the potential scuffs on their resume. The Dolphins did it with Dan Campbell he turned out to be a pretty cool guy.

Also, look at Mike McDaniel's photo on the coaching page. The smile has abandoned that poor man.

In other news. @DSP's Tax Lawyer, brother, are you ready? I know last week you were talking about how Green Bay is beginning our march to the Super Bowl and all that. I'm typically pretty pessimistic, but I think I'm buying in to the unbridled optimism you've bestowed upon me. Hell yeah!

Hopefully. Grier needs to go first though.

Their defense is stuck in a loop where they can't get pressure with 4 and can't blitz because the secondary's so fucking bad they need to be relegated to soft zone and also they have the slowest LBs in existence.

I don't think McNeurodivergent touches the defense at all and that roster is on Grier so it's technically not his fault.

The offense being a total clownshow is his fault though.
