Rashid Shaheed just got traded to the Seahawks. a shame, he's been one of my favourite Saints in this post Brees-Payton depression era.

The Cowboys got Quinnen Williams for a single 1st? Why the fuck didn't my team go for that shit? Wtf, we've been in desperate need of a big body up the middle to pair with Madabuike and they couldn't make this deal happen? We have the fucking cap space. I swear, Ozzie's replacement has been fuckin MID since replacing the legend.

Full trade just got released. It's a 2026 2nd rounder, 2027 first rounder, and DT Mazi Smith. Jets are in fire sale mode and now have 2 1st, 2 2nds in 2026, and 3 1sts in 2027. The 2027 first rounder is also a pick swap, where they get the better of Green Bay's or Dallas's.

No especially since the bengals are 3-6 so one of those is going to at least be a non-playoff top-18 pick. Great trade by the Jets. This trade only makes sense to a team in win it all mode. I really like what the Jets got out of this, as they have to go full rebuild.
Can you read the trade details and try again?

damn i was writing up 3 trades at once and messed up my copy paste. I was writing Logan Wilson being traded from the Bengals to the Cowboys, Rashid Shaheed from Saints to the Seahawks, and Sauce Gardner from the Jets to the Colts and when i tried to add a 4th i messed it up when trying to reply to three different posts. That's what I get while trying to rush it at work. I'll just recopy it into one post:

Jets receive WR Mitchell, 2026 1st rounder, 2027 1st rounder
Colts receive CB Sauce Gardner

Jets: A+ (Got more than Dallas received for Micah Parsons, a better player and lower draft capital due to GB's standing)
Colts: D (I get trying to win now, but this shouldn't be a team in win now and mortgage the future mode).

Jets receive DT Mazi Smith, 2026 2nd rounder, 2027 1st rounder (GB or DAL, whichever is better)
Cowboys receive DT Quinnel Williams

Jets: A (Getting the choice between GB or Dallas's pick could be worth several spots in 2 years )
Cowboys: F (They should be sellers not buyers).

Saints receive 2026 4th and 5th rounder
Seahawks receive WR Shaheed

Saints: B+ (I don't believe they could have gotten more value from other teams out of this).
Seahawks: B (Got the depth they needed at WR, without giving up early draft capital).

And I had something about giving up Logan Wilson for a 7th which is a bad value, and he's a rental for the Cowboys so I just don't get the trade for either party. Dallas needs to be thinking long-term, and the Bengals defense is historically bad and I don't get trading someone who is a starter or at least servicable.

Yeah, I just don't see it. Cowboys are 3-5-1 with only two easy wins on the rest of their schedule. I strongly doubt dem boys are making it this year.

Yeah, Jerry's meddling is causing the team to be bad year after year. The Jets front office is clearly thinking long-term, and could possibly get the first overall this year as well from their own pick.

The Seattle pick is also pretty clever as being a UFA, if he ends up walking and getting good money, they may end up receiving a late 4th or 5th in the 2026 NFL draft as a compensatory pick which is half of what they gave up to get Shaheed.

One step closer to Tom Brady cloning himself and raising the boy as his son and football heir

Sauce Gardner hasn’t been elite in about a year and a half. Is he really worth two firsts right now?
Probably not in the grand scheme, though he could prove otherwise if he performs well. I think the main reason the Colts made this trade is because of the short-term and how things are shaping up right now in the AFC playoff picture. Chiefs while not out of it are clearly struggling and are facing the possibility of not making the playoffs. While Baltimore has witnessed a resurgence over the past two weeks, they still have a uphill battle facing them in regards to making the playoffs.

There is no telling what the future holds. The Chiefs could bounce back next year and continue their never-ending domination until the league decides they need a new dynasty to peddle as the face of the league. The 2025 season may literally be the only window of opportunity the Colts have for the foreseeable future to have a shot at merely making it to the Super Bowl. Let alone winning one. Whether Gardner is worth it in the long term doesn't matter as much as how he could possibly boost them to have a little bit more edge over the other teams.

Coaches are typically working past midnight during the season, and rarely get time to do anything outside of their office and on the field. Andy Reid isn't even the first coach to go full walrus.
But they have access to the healthiest food available, so why do they blimp up so massively? It might be somewhat understandable if they were poors who could only afford ramen and other cheap carbs, but they literally can have anything they want from the training table.

It's a mixed bag. Pete Carroll, HC of the Las Vegas Raiders, doesn't look awful for being over 70.
Yes, there are some HC who never seem to get fat. But what are the fat ones consuming to maintain and even expand their impressive girths? Pizza?

The college coaching ranks is where we see a bevy of enormous porkers.
