I don't think there's ever been this bad of a Thursday night game in years.
I'm glad I didn't bother to watch. It should have been a blowout. Fascinating how Denver plays to the level of their opponents and somehow win. They're the Steelers of the AFC West.
Currently, who is the best running back in the league?
Taylor leading yards and TDs but McC most important to their team I think.

Couldn’t they brown bag it for most of their meals on the road? That would be a lot healthier than consuming restaurant food.

Are they allowed to pay for a recruit’s meals? Seems like it would be a violation of some sort.

The road is the devil, sugar. You're out there, usually alone, it's fun for a bit and then the loneliness kicks in and soon you're drowning it in comfort food. Damn my back is killing me from all these hours on the road, Doc. "Here's some pills to help with that.". You know what helps chase those percs the doc gave you when you need to fall asleep? An ice cold beer. The self control lasts for a couple of years but eventually that disappears as well and you'll eventually be photographed with a neck brace on and your face covered in road rash.

It's not just solo road life either. Look at how many musicians and actors die of heroin overdoses even before the fentanyl problem. Eminem was once fat enough he was seen zonked out on xanax eating at McDonalds and he heard two fans arguing over that was him or not. "Bro, Eminem is not that fat." got him in to rehab.

It isn't that fascinating. Denver has a stellar defense but a way too inconsistent offense with way too many holes at key positions. They have a young, decent QB behind a good offensive line but no talent at the other skill positions on the offense.

In a lot of ways they are just like the 2000 Ravens but without any of the big personalities for the media to fawn over.

Miami wanted a first and more for Waddle but I really think Denver should've just done it, even though they're not really in win now mode. If nothing else it'd help Nix's development having a reliable receiver and he'd be very cheap until 2027 with the way his contract is structured.

Then they can go hunt around in the draft for more skill position players.

Nah, it was something else. He texted his family and friends goodbye and they and the NFL called in a wellness check on him. DPS found him and he drove off and killed himself.

Oh man.. tragic shit. RIP
I do fault him for running though. Putting innocent lives in danger. It sounds like he even crashed.
Mental health and medical tech has far to go.

Carl’s Stone Cold Lock of the Century of the Week is superior to Grid Iron Heights.

If only it was still going on and given enough budget to barely animate another character…
Carls picks were amazing, GIH is retarded niggerslop for 14 year old NAPA's who are in love with DBZ and think (as much as groid brains can mimic what actual humans call thought) "ball is life".

I only just found out a month ago that Pencil Neck was some sportsblogger that they had on the show. I'd always thought he was a made up sports nerd stereotype.

Not even halfway through the 1st Quarter and COlts v. Falcons is already a shitshow with fumbles, a turnover, failed 4th down while in field goal, and a missed extra point.

Indiana Jones regressing back to Danny Derps? I’m not exactly shocked, more disappointed - did Steelers Black Magic fuck with his confidence that much, or are all the International Games this year just incredibly cursed?
