Re: Peter Pan casting. Yes, it’s usually a woman cast as Peter. This is because it would be absolutely comical and not in a good way to sing “Never grow up” in anything lower than alto register, (can you imagine how stupid it would look and sound for a man with stubble and a deep voice to sing that song?) male actors usually look too grown-up, and 12 year old boys are generally not competent for such a demanding role.
FWIW it’s also common to use female voice actresses for boy characters (eg Bart Simpson) for a similar reason: because their voices are going to stay consistent over years of voice work.

Ugh ty I hate it. I hate that freaks like *this* are why every medical team in woke states use "gender neutral language" in the L&D ward now. Even though it makes the actual women having babies there feel like animals, they have to do this to please the 3-4 heckin' valid doods who come in to have their babies or they're bigots.
I get using the gender-neutral language if your patient is literally a pooner, but for fucks sake I got so annoyed when the nurses all wear badges with their pronouns on their ID lanyard and use words like "birthing person" and "chestfeeding" and "pregnant people" around me. Biology is bigoted now I guess, because according to my doctor "men" can get pregnant and have kids and "women" will bank their sperm pre cockectomy.

a lot of these pooners are going to be left-leaning and likely anti-gun, and that's not even counting those outside the USA who can't even get a gun (or knife, etc). Rape unfortunately can happen to anyone, but troonism isn't a logical thing- there's probably just a subconscious feeling of being disgusting and unattractive and therefore 'safe' from those nasty scary men when you gain weight and not bother with personal hygiene, and it's very easy to do when you have other mental health issues or autism. I don't think we need to start encouraging troons to buy guns anyway

I bet Aiden's Poonifesto will never be revealed officially or in its entirety. Those three photos quickly taken by a cop (or a glowie?) in a parking lot and leaked to Crowder may be all we get.
If indeed there really is a "manifesto" that clearly explains why she planned and carried out her school rampage. I bet the cops and/or FBI assumed that there was one when they scooped up her multiple notebooks. Shooters who keep notebooks always have a manifesto that explains their actions, right?
Reading all 20 (!) of her notebooks would be illuminating. And maybe there is a proper-ish manifesto buried in one. But that page about crackers and faggots etc., is hardly a true manifesto. That's just her raving and psyching herself up.

These scribblings, which the punditocracy is bound to focus on over the larger issues, look to me like mania mingled with some sort of development delay and transcribed into the current thing rant framework. Her social media would be more illuminating wrt motive.

The simple explanation is that these young girls are uncomfortable with a heterosexual power dynamic, not that in some way, somehow they have a male soul because they read m/m content that's made by and for women. That's like saying "You like true crime? Does that mean you want to kill people?" etc.

If you watch this one with the sound off, her facial expressions and gestures become even more obviously female. It's actually pretty interesting.

There's something so pitiful about an obvious pooner pretending to be stealth. Even when balding lets her be assumed male at a casual glance, she can’t roid her way out of a Kermit voice, narrow shoulders, tiny hands, and unrelenting feminine mannerisms. Not to mention feminine interests.
I stumbled across this pooner youtuber “David M” because she made videos covering published author Cassandra Clare’s fanfic-days plagiarism and I’m a sucker for old writing world dramas. Yesterday she uploaded a video covering Amy Player aka Victoria Bitter aka Than Fiction aka Andy Blake aka my favorite pooner of all time, so now I have to share.
Poor little poon can’t help but constantly wave her girlish hands around while insisting "not all pooners!!" She tries to cover for it by playing the fag, even jokes about wearing leather pants to famed NYC gay bar The Eagle at some point in this video, but there’s a noticeable difference between the gestures of an effeminate man and a still-feminine woman.
She’s not much better at YouTube than she is not letting the whole world know there’s no penis in those leather pants: she’s terrible at summaries when that appears to be the premise of her channel, she refers to infamous hobbit-channeling poon as “Victoria Bitters” when the pseudonym was “Victoria Bitter” from the name of a popular Aussie beer, and she refers to criminal acts as “icky” and and wrings her hands, stammers, and looks distressed that covering a true crime topic means talking about people doing and saying not-so-nice things. The cherry on top is she actually travels to a few of the locations in the sordid tale of Amy Player only to not get much footage at all of the infamous failed charity garden because a gardener was weed wacking the lot and this poon was too timid to ask if she could film some b-roll or just come back later. Her Cassandra Clare videos also contain some great whining about Rowling, for anyone who somehow hasn’t had their fill of that.
(If you're not familiar with Amy Player, pooner cult leader of the livejournal era, I encourage you to go down that rabbit hole. This woke-but-watchable video covers her antics in the Lord of the Rings fandom where she formed her first-but-not-last Final-Fantasy-House-styled cult, but ends without covering the similar Harry Potter cult and the murder suicide it instigated. There's a decent r/drama post covering most of the rest. The memory holed article by Kevin Spacey fanfic writer Aja Romano also fills in what came after, though it has its own weird bias.
