Like I get what you are saying, but nah. Estrodial valerate, aka HRT used by troons, was invented in the 1960s and 70s. Elizabeth was born in 1948. And he started being in films in the 70s and already way into their transitioning enough to pass enough as a girl.

Its not about "not being that strong" either. For one, the main form of HRT is like what I mentioned- an injectable. That is why MTFs are primarily dying from autoimmune diseases. Two, men arent supposed to have a high amount of estrogen. Taking estrogen... Raises your estrogen! Having high estrogen will kill you prematurely.

Keep in mind, men nowadays are already struggling with low T unlike back then too.

Coffey went to John Hopkins for their reassignment treatments in the early 1970s and there were definitively hormone treatments at the time. You're probably right that they probably didn't stay on hormones back then for long since it's kind of pointless once you've grown moobs, unfortunately, very few of the old school trannies seem to bring it up. Coffey alludes to having two "puberties" in this interview. Also says transition goal was Pat Moran and well...



On an unrelated note, Divine was actually considering about going on hormones to "grow tits bigger than his head", but decided against it after researching the actual side effects. A weird place I've encountered pooners (following the comments on fandom) was the band Ghost. A younger family member (who gives me faith not all kids are gender nutters) introduced me to the music but complained about all the pooners who are fans. The band itself has a whole lore/back story which they feed off.

They have a song called "Rats" which I find hilarious as so many pooners have pet rats.

you know, i really like the tommy shriggly skit and vic. They are funny But Everytime ally comes on I can't think of anything else than her soup story. She got top surgery, and everyone threw her a party and brought get well soup at different times. She moved (I assume to be with whoever was caring for her) and she had to throw away all the soup. Impossible to prove, but I have a hunch that some of the language evolution is actually driven by "allies" anticipating things that troons hadn't even thought to ask for yet. Eg: pro choice is now “pro reproductive rights” to cover IVF, homeless people are now “unhoused”, women are now “cervix havers” and “birthing persons”, its not global warming its “climate change” or even now just “climate”, they now call being crazy “struggling w problems with mental health” instead of “mental illness”, you’re not retarded you’re “exceptional”. The words change every 4 years or so to keep you on your toes and signify that you’re hip to whatever nonsense the vanguard is obsessing over in the ivory towers.
