I think pooners stick in your mind because they're so novel and unique. We've all seen seething troonjaks, and disgusting transvestites/male troons have been joked about for decades. However, female troons are newer specimens, and the psyche of the female troon is a lot more complex than "unrepentant coomer" or "self-loathing gay man". Female troons come in tons of flavours, in contrast. The pooner meme is very adaptable, so it can be applied to almost any type of TIF.

These cute characteristics are juxtaposed with deep levels of delusion and severe self-harm, which provides an accurate assessment of the trans movement. Her apparent personal nemesis is Kalvin Garrah, whose name occasionally shows up in her drawings or is outright made into a pooner. She frequently has to make new accounts due to upsetting her fellow people of gender.

Personally I'm not surprised at all that FTMs show self-awareness for how grotesque they are. If they didn't feel grotesque and uncomfortable in their own bodies (whether it be due to autism, eating disorder, childhood sexual abuse, just existing as a young woman in 2023, etc.), they would not have transitioned in the first place. These are girls who were already hyper-aware of themselves and their own bodies, even before injecting testosterone or chopping off their breasts. I think there's a segment of FTMs who want to be repulsive, and celebrate it, since they consider repulsiveness in itself to be a masculine trait (or, perhaps more accurately, being physically repulsive is a rejection of femininity, which by definition cannot ever be disgusting or frightening).
