been thinking about suggesting this thread in the MATI because Null's reaction would be funny, but at the same time I like how the thread has been stewing without too much attention.

I'm conflicted too. Featuring things tends to bring an influx of fucking idiocy, I kinda like the cozy thread we have here, then again it would be cool for the homegrown art renaissance with the Pooner tarot to get some recognition (I don't even know what to think about the new Supreme Poonleman shooter).

My sentiments too, that's why I held off heading into the MATI thread after we mentioned it the other day. Bet there's many more artists on here with deranged ideas they could bring to life but it's a tough call my doods.

This is almost certainly too long and opinionated, so let me know what to cut, but here's my first draft:

Pretty good. I would add a lot more art examples, but you were probably already planning to do that. Maybe include a few pics of IRL pooners as well for comparison.
Another thing: don't include any seriously NSFW art, even under spoiler tags. I think your first NSFW example (and stuff similar to it) would be fine, but not the Toob Birth one. An unfortunate quirk of the forum software is that clicking on an image (like if you want to expand a thumbnail image) pulls up the post's entire gallery of images at the bottom of the page.

I do think it's important to mention that there's a lot of NSFW pooner art, though. FTMs projecting their deep-seated insecurities & negative feelings into pooner art is a key aspect, and it explains why there's often so much explicit gore & sexual stuff in the art. Also because some of the art is made to mock particular pooners in the FTM community, so it's made as gross as possible.

@Temperance XIV Thanks for the feedback. I forgot about that re the gallery. I find the gore/body horror the most interesting aspect, but I see why it's a bad idea to include pictures of it.

Seems like the general sentiment is to hold off for now, can't unring the bell if it's posted. But given the FTM shooting and all the pooner/columbine pooner talk in the featured thread, Null might decide to go into it anyway.

So, the reaction to the shooting I've seen so far is fairly interesting among Poonkind.
While there are some making the expected gallows humor comments along the lines of the shooter being Malebrained?

There's also a lot of worry that this is going to be used to further anti trans legislation.

ESPECIALLY in light of Tucker Carlson commenting on the recent uptick in Trans individuals arming themselves.
While a lot of it is doomposting on the pooner's part? They're not entirely wrong in thinking that this is going to get used. After all, a pooner who literally fucking went by Aiden shot up a religious associated elementary school.
This...well the optics do NOT look good.
