It's so fucking bizarre. It seems she either really has identified as a NB at some point, or just pretended to be from the start, I'm not sure, but either way the surgery was done under the guise of being NB. Seems like before she decided on double mastectomy she looked into radical reduction.
I don't understand how people just cut healthy organs from their bodies like that. I was never fond of plastic surgeries (unless the person is really disfigured and such), but this is another level altogether.

Tweenagers and teenagers often hate their boobs, there's absolutely no reason that it should be chalked up as someone actually being a man somehow as opposed to just a common reaction to puberty or self-consciousness regarding your body. Occam's razor, people. Anyway, it's medical malpractice to cut off body parts for no reason, no it's not ok for "cis people" to want this as well.

Surgeons are fucking insane. This young dumb bitch doesn't "feel" like she wants boobs anymore so she gets to go under and have them lopped off? yep, not only is NB is the hip popular thing, but the aesthetic around trans, NB, and queer is also very hip. it's like getting a tattoo, a punk hair cut, or wearing certain styles of clothing. unfortunately the surgeries are way more permanent than any of those things and the reward/regret ratio is very high.
i dont want to doom post, but i suspect in a decade we are going to see a lot of these women, both pooners and the aesthetic kind, having tons of regrets.(and seeing how history repeats itself, men will get the bulk of the blame for it)
