It comes up a lot that women are more repulsed by mtfs, men are more repulsed by ftms, probably because it's you that they're mimicking. I honestly thought they were a joke for awhile. Tiny and pink, massive tits and or frankenscars, frog voices, etc. They seem less ridiculously threatening on the surface because we are so used to ogrehons. But the roid raging, inability to control violent urges, and the fact that I am in what seems to be their ideal demographic dating demo has really soured me on just finding them funny (though they still are). Not sure I would go so far as to say worse than the AGPs, but no better surely.

Troons are more of an immediate threat to women, but pooners are a long-term danger in how they groom other women into becoming pooners and they are increasing in number exponentially. I went from hardly seeing any a few years ago to seeing them everywhere in town. I hardly ever see troons in my area by comparison.

I see way more troons in my area, but I also live within walking distance of a gay pub, so. I don't know that I'd say pooners do more grooming either - all the EPI sissy video stuff is troons. Although girls see them and want to get in on the trend, there's less of the intentionally grooming forcemasc stuff about (so far. Will probably get worse.)

I will never understand the variety of pooner that takes hormones, chops off her boobs, possibly even gets a frankendick installed... only to continue to wear very girly clothes and have an overall feminine aesthetic. Saw one having some sort of powwow with a bald troon in a skirt. He was like twice her height and she had the typical T-laced frog voice. He still sounded like a faggy man. They both looked and sounded like unconvincing parodies of the genders they were pantomiming, especially when compared to one another. The sheer delusion of these things thinking they "pass" in any way whatsoever never fails to impress.

A large part of the "queer culture" they want to be a part of revolves around violating as many perceived social norms and taboos as possible. Anything that seems disgusting, ugly, or wrong to straights is glorified and played up by these groups, whether the specific forms this contrarianism takes on make logical sense or not. Rather than going back and forth between how they want to be seen being a sign of ambivalence or mental instability, they get off on rationalizing it as extra queer (which is the same as being extra super special and not like all the other medically-disfigured blobs or scarecrows) or even part of an imagined second puberty. It's all way more fucked up and convoluted than you can imagine.
