Got me down this rabbit hole. HRT causes acute pancreatitis even in those with no familial history of it. Estrogen offers no protection in males, and in pooners they get this and it aggravates their diabetes if said T doesn't outright cause it. So many of them are fat, so pancreatitis develops even quicker.
