The first one, if we're to believe her, was indeed abused by her father and got stabbed and raped in the recent times (like, why share that on the Internet so randomly?). The other seems to live quite a good life and even has a cis fiance in the states (this other one is from the UK - I wonder how one didn't cheat on the other, but there's not a lot of info they share about this). Interestingly, the partners of these people don't seem to have groomed them or vice versa. A very unpopular opinion that I'd feel safer sharing in this space is that church service is actually sometimes a good place to be the social being a human is meant to be, for long as the environment is healthy. A bit of powerlevel, but so far, the sermons I've attended, the priests I know of, and the people I've been with in mass, as far as I know, have never been creepy or mean bible thumper delusional hellfire and brimstone weirdos as many traggots make all of them out to be.

Tepid disagreement with their idiotic ideas is akin to over the top persecution and no one is allowed to say they want to live their lives differently and create communities that support that lifestyle. Most churches are not cults, they wouldn't keep members otherwise, there is a reason the cult weirdo ones have to travel and try to reach more people by making themselves available online: they wouldn't survive on the local level, people would think they're crazy and stop going. Churches are 100% transparent and that is the major positive aspect of Christianity. You can stop in any church during service regardless of where you are from, decide whether you like it, ask questions about the perspective. If that's the type of thing you seek out you can find your place and easily leave it if you think they're doing something wrong. Unless you're Amish and otherwise living in a commune it is simply unfeasible to have a wife that doesn't have a job herself and can't run errands herself by driving. Most men do not make enough money to support a true stay at home wife + children. You have to cover the house, the cars, groceries, bills, gifts, clothes, and spending money for the wife and the kids once they're older. That is not something you can have on a basic middle class income unless you budget super tight and find a low cost of living area to settle in (and when I say budget tight I mean it, no streaming services, no eating out often, no newer cars, no personal computers for every member of the household, it's doable but the way most people want to live it's not something a lot are willing to). And even then you'd be capped on the number of children you can support on that. A lot of women also worked from home doing odd jobs. Book keeping in a home office is a big one, it's part of the reason a lot of accountants are women. It's not just a fantasy that there is a parallel society of women living the handmaid's tale but it's entirely unfeasible economically speaking. They really underestimate the amount of resources a single earner needs to bring in to support a full family alone.
