I like how one of the major villain of P5S looks like
anime Tony Stark.
Hell, he basically is
anime Tony Stark
considering he’s a
genius in charge of a tech company and uses a A.I. for stuff.
I’m going to point out that I made this comment before playing through said villain’s dungeon and...man, was I more on the money than I realized.

Super enjoying the game.

I think it's pretty funny that once you get a certain party member he just invalidates the game with his buffs and not being weak to anything (But also not strong against anything) due to him being Almighty

Then he also learns Enduring Soul
Then the AI heals you like crazy, invalidating his "lose HP while in crazy mode" weakness
Then he can just damage enemies when not in the other mode

Not that the game is the hardest thing ever but it was funny seeing this character roll in and wipe the floor

finished persona 4. Id give it a 9/10. should i play fes or portable... also is the english translation of eternal punishment psp finished?
FES. The game is very heavily wrapped in its atmosphere and point and click backgrounds are not atmospheric. Not being able to control your party members hasn't aged well but neither has random skill inheritance and Nocturne is still an incredible game.

Only thing I know about this game series is that since Joker made it into SSBU the community became a toxic piece of shit. (Even more than it was, it was nowhere near as bad as it was beforehand).

It also seems to cross over naturally with Nintendo fans and Danganrompa fans, presumably the latter due to the artstyles being remarkably similar.

Nah, its been festering since the P4 anime came out and burst when P5 came out. Smash barely added to the mess, aside from making port beggars louder

P5S is cool and all, but I'm counting down the days until Spring 2021 when I can finally play SMT5. Speaking of which, I've been going through Raidou Kuzunoha vs the Soulless Army and I gotta say... the gameplay is pretty fucking clunky, but it's still fucking fun and stylish as ever. Here's to hoping that the Nocturne remaster inspires Atlus to make a revival of the Devil Summoner series.

so i have been playing P5 strikers and i have taken a liking to it. the problem i had with P5 is the characters did not get fleshed out enough and make their interactions feel flat. the charisma is so much better beacuse its the same characters from the first game but already developed so they feel more like a group of friends and a actual team this time around. it really helps that everyone is stuck in a van and on a road trip so they are always together.

gotten used by the gameplay by now. my advice is to max out bondmaker and spent one level on orocals passive spell that gives you heath and SP after a battle. switch between spells, personas and party members really open up some game breaking strategies once you got some SP to spent. as a sequel, this is really good.

had a small heartattack when joker died in battle but realize the game continues even after he falls.

getting the bond skill for mask drops levelled up helps alot too. It'll get you persona points much quicker when its capped out, which can be directly invested in persona stats around the time you can uncap it.

Personally I think its a little bit of both I just feel like P4 was the catalyst with some of worst aspects of the Megaten community for lack of a better term and a lot of it has surface when Altus was focusing on expanding P5. It certainly had made it hard to just talk about these games without someone sperging out about it at least in my neck of the woods. Guess its inevitable to happen with a mostly niche series reminds me of what happend with dark souls.

Current tier list... Anyways because it is very unlikely that Vic wont be able to voice Junpei for the forseeable future if you had to pick someone to replace vic who would be the least awful choice?

Margaret and Mitsuru should be S tier, and Ai should be much higher. The police guy who sells you weapons in 3 should be higher too.

Im still working through Persona 3 so thesese just reflect my thoughts of the time. I only did the first couple bits of Ai's S Link. Police guy is low because he works for the kirijo group and is a cop yet hes holding out on me (oh sure sure he can give you components for a highly experimental walking weapon but he cant give you smgs, rifles or shotguns?) I have no defense for margaret

Would fap to Mitsuru, but B is fair due to her social link story being kinda bad. Also, for a genius (or attracted to a genius anyways), she somehow didn't pick up on Ikutsuki can function during the Dark Hour, but not have a persona or memory loss. How does that work? I assumed Mitsuru's father was personally harmed in the accident and that's why he's wearing the eyepatch, but Ikutsuki should have been suspicious to her.

Keisuke from the photo/music club deserves to be F class. Habitually acts like a doctor, doesn't want to be a doctor. Kinda likes the hobby, but not totally into it. Directionless bore. At least he doesn't look like Nozomi and stuffs his face with odd morsels and rancid gravy.

I am surprised Hidetoshi (rat-faced Disciplinary member hunting cigarette student) is a B. I don't get how he's in the same league at Mitsuru or Drunk gamer teacher.

Man, between the more action-oriented remixes of songs like Last Surprise and the new stuff like Daredevil, the music for P5S is just awesome.

Actually, something just occurred to me... P5R, P5S, and one could argue calling Persona Q2 P5Q...it’s too bad the couldn’t have given the dancing game a P or T name to keep with the naming setup there.
