I found the mini story in the trailer amusing. It really looks like something a Sims player would come up with. I mean, all the couples are interracial, the bride that dumps the groom at the altar falls in love with her black best friend... It's something I definitely would have done when I to played TS3 (plus a couple of drownings to add more drama). That shit doesn't happen in real life, or at least it isn't very common, so it makes perfectly sense in the Sims world.
EA tried to show how woke and diverse they are with that trailer, but they just emulated a normal teenage girl's gameplay.

They do things like this strategically so when countires ban it it gets put on news articles and more clowns will buy it to feel like they did some sense of “justice” by rebelling against homophobia. The Russians arent missing out on shit anyways in a few hours the gameplay will be dead. I decided to spend the 20 something dollars on the sims 3 instead of the the new sims 4 gane pack and I love it so far.

Sims 3 is great. Make sure your save files don't nuke themselves. That is a thing.

The Russians are great at pirating (i.e. Fitgirl and Anadius), so if they want the wedding pack, they will have it.

...Why though? The game's already got an 18+ rating here (no, I am not kidding) so you can literally put full frontal nudity in it and legally sell it without problems, so what's the point? I'd say it's just another weird virtue signaling attempt by EA, but for what purpose? Especially since so many people pirate and wouldn't buy it anyway?

Performative wokeism crap. They wouldnt ban it in china or islamic countries though. Correct me if im wrong but china is a huge market for the western film and game industry to bank off of and they dont want to be called islamicphobic . They are trying to get the applause like they did with the soon pronoun update but it backfired.

So they wont add burglars because it can be too triggering but a polyamours is fine despite the fact that many poly marriages are abusive and forced and is usually 1 man controlling several women and not the happy queers couple that the western advertise on tumblr. And how would the cas relationship system look like considering team limits the amount of relationship edits you can make? Second wife, third wife, fourth wife??. This seems like too much work for the shitty team of the sims 4.
 
Sims 4 already has plenty of mods that allow for polyamory, or at least removing the event flags that make characters get jealous/consider it cheating if their partner dates someone else. EA needs to focus on adding things players actually want instead of fucking with things modders have already added years ago.

Here's the funny part: Sims 4 has 18+ already, so they could actually sell the new pack. This also wasn't a problem when they made Pets pack and showed a gay couple on the cover or whatever. So EA is just being a bunch of nasty faggots and being annoying just for a sake of being annoying.
 
The sim youtube influencers are so fucking fake. They only follow the crowd on what is right and wrong. Many of them were agreeing with the sims team when the announcement came out because I bet they all thought it made them look good and wanted that early access but now that the majority of players are against the ban and they now they want to switch sides.
