Sounds like it might just be an ATB thing, I guess. If so that's fine, but it's really not a good idea to shake things up too much. They should at least always make turn-based an option.

Apparantly, this game was supposed to be to show representation of deaf people. The problem is they got very lazy and decided to just cut out the sound of the game instead of doing anything creative. Deaf people, the main character included, have been shown to not only understand sign language but read lips too, something non-deaf people usually can't do. It just reeks of pretentiousness and laziness all around.

The gameplay and graphics suck ape nuts too. They use the same model for enemies, and glitches galore. It probably doesn't get dumped on as much because it's only around two hours of gameplay and $15, which is still too much for this failed abortion.

If I had to guess it's because Nintendo published them in the west and may own the localisations. And Sqaure may not see it worth it to make a deal to get them on other platforms or don't want to put the work into redo them .

That or they are on the list, just way down on the list.

Pretty sure all the games have mobile ports that have no affiliation to nintendo, dont know how the quality of those is, but if the 3ds ports have any problems they could just port those no?

Dragon Quest 8 does have a phone port, however it was pre the 3ds one and the 3ds one had a number of things added to it.

With DQ7, phones did get a port from the 3ds version, however looks to be japan only.

I think if they change DQ too much Japan's infrastructure will collapse in on itself so hopefully they don't go full action game.

Playing the new Star Ocean 6. I'm 15 hours in and start getting burned out on the game. I'm level 45 and still on that fucking planet, when the fuck am I reaching space? I don't think even 3 was that bad on that regard, and it had far more engaging and deep faction war within it rather than generic faceless "evil empire". Also thank god I took the male protagonist since you just see how entire important points are skipped otherwise. Besides that the exploration is fun, but the combat is very samey. At least it's nice seeing muscle mage fucking deep striking the field and killing everything.

I do like the mini game, like easier Go with more options.

Oh boy the leaks of forspoken (final boss) is fucking insane, worse quips than capeshit. Incredible bad facial animations... Empty areas? Just fill them with Particles.
I was so right not to look forward to this garbage.
Edit: it got removed.
I have a mp4 downloaded of this video it's about 500mb on an android tablet. When after work tomorrow I try to upload it somehow for the farms if there's need for that.
Mfw it got removed

I like how the "Don't judge a book by its cover" idiom is 100% wrong nowadays, and you could tell Forspoken was gonna be a big ol' hunk o' shit just by the Amerimutt front and center.

Boy oh boy the day when all of these FAGGOT cinematic pieces of shit finally run their course can't come soon enough.

What, nobody thinks the main character of Forspoken is a TOTALLY EPIC FISH OUT OF WATER? Oh, the game looks great, you can zippity zip bop around some boxes in a mostly empty Unreal Engine asset ass environment of an open world and the characters talk like they’re in a Marvel movie. Sounds good!

I kinda want to give forspoken its own thread but considering I forgot it existed until this week, it will probably completely disappear from public perception besides some moral crusaders who'll dub it "best game ever".

Also I'd bet the final boss is white.
