I looked at the final battle and it had parts you ride a dragon and need to dodge Touhou-like beam spam. And yeah Nier Automata is alright, I do like you break the system later.

Even an actual pretty dark-skinned girl would do fine there. Yoruichi from Bleach, Cia from Zelda musou, Nitocris from Fate/Go, etc. Plenty of popular examples to go around.

Their mistake was to turn a tech demo into an actual game. There's no way that a game in [current year] would require 32 gigs of ram on PC.
