"The talk"

The early stuff really was Sonichu talking to him.

Probably impossible to say, Blue Demon. The thing is that it's very common for people speaking English to attribute desires and intentions to things that don't really have them. I've heard virologists say (slight paraphrase) "Does the polio virus want that?" instead of "does the polio virus gain a selective advantage from that?" I think we can be confident that when DC Fontana talks about "what Captain Kirk wants" she doesn't actually believe Kirk exists.

Nowadays, I'm pretty confident Chris believes his fictional characters are real. Earlier? Maybe.

Thanks for the heads-up, guys. You have such an intricate jargon that I get confused, I'm not a full blood autistic to grasp it 100%, but I apreciate you explaining that to me.

I also don´t get the 'Don't pozload my neghole > Touches the poop' 'Don´t give Chris money > Gives Chris money' and so on, there must be something really screwed up to have Null step in.

Cheers

Most of the filters are just @Null being completely fed up with seeing some things said millions and millions of times so he just turns them into something insulting to the poster. That's just one of those privs you get by virtue of running a forum. In return for putting up with everyone's fucking bullshit, you get to do things like that. For instance, "weeaboo" and a lot of other old meme words are from wordfilters back on 4chan. Iirc "weeaboo" was for "wapanese" and is a reference to the old Perry Bible Fellowship cartoon.

Couple questions from a filthy casual Chris follower.

I thought Chris believed (rightly or wrongly) that Kiwis are all dang, dirty trolls. Why would he trust Fearless Leader, the ostensible chief troll?

Why the disdain for Rocky? I always got the impression that she was a well meaning church counselor who got dragged into something far above her pay grade, mainly because Chris refused to use any tugboat on a qualified professional. Is that not the case?

As you can see tôuching the poôp is totally fine now since Jôshua Conner Moôn is doing it himself!

"Touching the poop" means to try and generate content out of Chris somehow. Null isn't trying to generate content, he's trying to help a mentally-disabled man from getting actually hurt in some way from his own stupidity or the stupidity of others. Null knows Chris and his contacts, he's up for the job of doing that. None of us are qualified to try doing that.

So basically, Null is going to be Chris's tardwrangler once Barb kicks the bucket.

Chris does not use the word "troll" unless he actually believes the person might be an internet troll. Chris doesn't believe the police are trolls, for example. He knows they're police, he just hates being arrested. This is useful to keep in mind because "troll" gives the wrong impression that Chris thinks that anyone who jams his day up is part of a conspiracy.

"Hater" would describe Chris' mindset better. Sometimes he thinks haters are associated with Clyde Cash (and thus trolls), but most of the time he thinks they're just dickheads, like the police or store managers. Not trolls in his eyes, just assholes.

Chris has gone back and forth on his feelings about kiwifarms. He knows we laugh and make fun of him, but so do a lot of people. He's not sure if it's friendly, good natured ribbing or something more sinister.

In fact, it frequently is more sinister, but Chris has trouble telling the difference and he's gone back and forth on that issue.

Chris would probably have mental treatment covered under his medicare. It's not about money.

And Chris didn't "refuse" to see a professional. He's not that opinionated. He just talks to Rocky because no one's given him a reason otherwise.

Or, well, he was seeing various professionals in the past few years. Pretty sure he had to talk to someone to get HRT. But yeah, earlier on he didn't see any.

The problem with Rocky is that she'll jump through hoops to do useless shit for him (like drive over to the mcdonalds to film his lego school on a whim), but she's curiously absent right when he needs her most, like when IG and his gay friends stole from Chris.

Thanks for the response. Quick follow up.

If that's what he thinks I guess he's sort of right. But again, if he has such a confused relationship with the Farms, why put so much trust in Null? Not accusing Null of anything, I'm just surprised Chris would go for it.

How do you mean no one's given him a reason? I have to think somebody at some point has told Chris to ditch Rocky and see a real shrink. Fair point about medicare and HRT though. Somebody must have brought up the idea of Medicare at some point, and he must have seen SOMEBODY for HRT. Now that I think of it, how the hell did he pass the sex change screening?

Why do you think that is? Does she know she's in over her head? Or just doesn't want to put in the work?

People vouched for null.

People have suggested everything to Chris at some point. Everything, including many things in direct conflict with each other.

And it doesn't usually come in the form of reasoned advice, but usually just screeching with a lot of insults behind it.

Informed consent, probably.

Well, and Chris checked off at least some of the WPATH guidelines, such as living as your target gender for a few years, as well as therapy and stuff like that. Probably not well qualified therapists though.

She faltered. Maybe it's because she thought Chris was crazy (he is, but it's not an urgent issue) or maybe she didn't trust the internet (she didn't have to, she could've just talked to the cops) or maybe she thought IG was a foreigner and thus untouchable (at the very least, getting a report taken would've helped).

You can kinda cobble together an excuse for her among all these issues, but honestly I think she just faltered.

I know that a lot of the details have yet to be revealed, but I was just curious about the folks who have stolen from Chris. Is this a case of several instances over a course of time? The main reason I ask is that it always seems that the bulk of the Chandlers' income is quickly used up on bills or whatever trend is on Chris's mind lately. Forgive me if I'm misremembering, @Marvin, but I think you said that Chris has been bilked for at least a thousand. Was this a long con?

Yes.

Chris' finances are not documented well online. We don't really know anything about it. We know a fraction of what goes out and a fraction of what comes in.

Several thousand. Yes, a long con over a period of 6-8 months. Maybe a little longer.

What comes in doesn't really matter if Barb has long since leveraged against what Chris could possibly take in.

I'm more addressing the idea that we can tell whether or not something is "quickly used up" or not.

Sometimes we're right on target, and sometimes we're completely wrong.

We just don't have much information on Chris' cash flow.
