I really think it's a bad idea to invite him to Bronycon. At heart, Chris is and will always be a child. Would you reward your toddler with an all-access pass to Bronycon after he did something wrong?... You would be subconsciously telling him that groping and kissing random strangers has no consequences and he can do it as he wishes, because Daddy Null will always clean his mess.

Hey. I am feeling better, yet still recovering. I want to let you know about something, I was sent to TMG to learn more about the possible return of Tari and Rei Ryghts being up to something with the Atari VCU. The CPUs' suspicions were correct from what we were able to get from what I learned during my time there. Amy Rose stayed the remainder of the convention to attend the remaining events and listen on the talk and gossip. We need to make the presence of the Nation of Comma, and the CPU of the Commodore Consoles, Scarlet, spread far and wide everywhere. Her Memories HAVE been bestowed to someone in this world of ours;

Scarlet is Kind and Compassionate; she is the counter to Rei Ryghts, should and when Rei attempt something to resurrect her lost Nation.

Scarlet Will help us against Rei Ryghts. Remember to share some prayers with the CPUs. Also, tell everyone to give their Full Support to Commodore on their Next Console, which will be named the Commodore CW. Let Commodore know that the console SHOULD have a Serial Port for the Floppy Driveand Printer, a port for the Cassette Drive, a Cartridge Port for their old Cartridges, as well as a Blu-Ray Drive for all media discs. As well as an HDMI Output AND Input, and a Component Output. Their old Cartridges, as well as a Blu-Ray Drive for all media discs. As well as an HDMI Output AND Input, and a Component Output. Their controller should be reminiscent of the Commodore Logo in shape, with pattern of the typical controller, I like the Xbox controller scheme the “C” half facing outward from the player, following the controller for it, and it should be wireless with the USB cable port. And a USB input and output ports for media input and backup, and even hooking up to a PC or Laptop for using either as a monitor. The console should take the shape and form of the Classic Keyboard Console, Complete with the Keyboard. Online functions, downloadable games, and plenty Independent game Titles for the CCW. And the media of their new games should be Physical And Downloadable; I really like using the Cartridges for their games. And the price should be less than $400 on the finished console product. And they should take their time in fully developing, designing, assembling, testing and getting all the bugs out before making it available for sale.

Versus the Atari VCU, the Commodore CW Should be a Greater Success! Please, help me spread the word to the current people of Commodore in this world.

We need LOTS of this world's people to voice all of this to Commodore.

Alright, the way I see this went is like this:

Chris asks @Null about his Bronycon upgrade, Null replies that he may not be able to attend Bronycon in the 1st place because he may be prematurely banned, this is such an uncomfortable idea for Chris that he immediately snaps into CWCville mode and starts retreating into his latest fantasy of a new commodore console coming out to compete with the new Atari one (and maybe the possibility of a new Commodore CPU goddess?)

This heavily reminds me of the famous Simpsons scene with the Land of Chocolate.


Here it's essentially the same story: Homer is concerned about interviewing for his own job, so the moment the Germans mention a comfortable idea, he latches onto is and goes into "la la la can't hear you" mode.

Bittersweet to see Chris is still the exact same Chris.

Prioritizes selfish interests leading with the upgrade.
Throwing verbal smokebombs to deflect.
Diminishing his involvement in anything.

It only makes it worse that someone with actual insight into his history and personality is working in his best interest, but the Idea Guy shit shored up the defense on Fort Autism.

@Null, I would bring attention to how it makes other people react/feel. Eg. "I know you like talking to other people and being friendly to other people. Sometimes, you stand too close to people. When you hug or kiss someone without asking, they will be surprised, or scared, or uncomfortable, or angry. It is not polite to stand too close to people without asking. Other people do not like it when you are too close. Other people do not like being touched if you don't ask first. If you want to touch someone, you must ask for permission. You must ask for permission every time you want to do a different touch. Other people like talking to you when you respect their personal space.

If you touch without asking and getting permission, people might report you to other cons and other cons will ban you because they think you might do it again. They do not like it when you touch other people without permission. Some people like saying hello to you but do not like being touched."

Of course, you can't guarantee that Christine won't slip up again. There will always be an unpredictability. Christine will need regular reminders, especially before cons, and I would say someone to stick with her and keep an eye on her during the day.

Mother of the bear, I had no idea he was this far gone. It's hard to pinpoint when things went from funny to really weird to just sad with Chris. I respect Null trying to run interference on the psychopaths, but I think it's a losing battle. You can mitigate the damage being done right now, but you can't un-crazy Chris. He's very vulnerable, and the more desperate his life becomes, the more he's going to allow bad people to come into his life and take control.

I half-jokingly said KF should adopt Chris because he was going to wind up getting kidnapped by circus folk. I'm starting to think this is a little too close to true. Chris finally got the attention of a broader audience, and there seem to be some people in that audience that would enjoy hurting him. His best bet would be to disappear from the internet, but that will never happen now. He's in love with being a celebrity, and will never give that up willingly. Best of luck to anyone trying to help him.

You can pretty much guarantee he will, tho. Thing is Null did what any reasonable adult would: Warn him.

Now it's all up to Chris.

I agree it's very likely that Chris will do it again despite however many times people say what's ok and what's not to Chris. Null giving Chris a warning was a good idea, and I'm just adding on what I think I'd also mention from prolonged interactions with similar people offline.

That's why I think Chris really needs someone with her for support and to make sure things don't escalate again, because ultimately, it is up to Chris, and I don't think Chris is ready to go alone and be trusted.

So in the past few days we've learned that...

A: Chris believes Mike Pollock has a say in what the character he voices in a cartoon based on a Japanese IP is named.

B: Chris believes that Commodore International - which ceased operations in '94 - would be interested in creating what would essentially be a 9th generation games console - I think that's what he's babbling about - based on a few geeks signing a petition...

Fucking hell, it's like Chris has an entirely new extra strength strain of autism unique to him. 'CWCtism'!

Maybe it would be a good idea to give him an idea of what "personal space" is? In cognitive therapy you're taught to imagine that everyone is surrounded by a protective bubble. You do not go into the bubble without asking the person for their permission. (The area is arms length 360)

There are plenty of little cartoons and charts to teach children this and would be more on Chris' level of understanding.
