Chauvin will get off with a slap on the wrist with a misdemeanor if anything at all. He will serve no additional jail time. Minneapolis will burn...again.

This is what will happen.

I'll see y'all in 2022 when this finally goes to trial and we get a verdict.

Floyd's family doesn't care anymore, they were paid off by the Vermin of the state.

Yes, if you've seen the footage of his arrest and the coroners report it's very clear he didn't die from suffocation. He died because he was loaded with drugs and put himself in a situation where he was non compliant and got treated as such. Typical nigs finna nog. Dude brought it on himself.
To be honest, I haven't seen the actual footage (meaning, not the full video. I've only seen the few minutes that the MSM had been circling around and what my family has shown me to shut me up). I thought Floyd being fucked up with drugs was just a meme until I discovered the Farms. I still can't believe it whenever I browse a writing forum I'm active on (which is okay, unless you avoid the political sperging) and see the users willingly put their hands over the ears and repeat that Chauvin and all cops are racist bastards.

What I kind of meant by my question is that I sort of lost hope during the summer of 2020 and the election and just expect the worst possible outcome of everything.

It's not a defense angle it's just my opinion.
Mine too dude, but sadly we left the realm of stating the obvious when this went to trial.

The defense is going with him dying from a heart issue brought on by all the drugs he did, his general health and the adreneline rush from struggling.

I mean that literally is what happened, so that makes sense.

Man, CourtTV is shilling hard for the prosecution. They've had the prosecutor's cock in their mouth all morning.

Can any lawfags here explain to me how the prosecution is allowed to trot out dozens of "eyewitnesses" to the same event that's on video from every possible angle? Are they testifying to something that was not seen on video or is it just gonna be an endless parade of "omg i was so shocked it was horrible to watch"

How long do you guys think the trial is going to be? I feel like the longer the trial goes on the more likely that Chauvin will be acquitted. If this turns out to be a kangaroo trial where they intend from the start to make an example of him then I expect it to only last a couple of weeks, if they're planning to actually look at the facts of the case then it might be much longer.

It's going to be a show trial, yeah. The first witness was completely pointless, she actually saw less than the bystanders did and all she could add was "I was concerned."

>when you’re the only black person that doesn’t think Chauvin was guilty

No one is saying that everyone involved is perfect or in any way an angel, but no one is going to justify the media and journalists for trying to force more rioting and chaos by people who are either guilt-tripped or gullible enough to do it,

It’s going to be a long three months and you’ll see why #DefundThePolice is a terrible mistake.
I think a lot of times these cases get tangled up in what's a crime, whose responsible, and what shouldn't ever happen.

Breonna Taylor is that way for me, ultimately the blame lies on three people:

The detective who lied to obtain the warrant
The culture that allows these keystone cops to LARP as Seal team six over dime bags of drugs
The Judges who rubber stamp this nonsense

Was there a prosecutable case against the officers on the scene? Probably not, but that doesn't mean the rest of the system isn't to blame for what happened.

How though. Biden's in charge now the 2020 riots at least had orange man to blame everything on. Now that Uncle Biden's in charge the media will have to defend everything the state does including locking brown people in cages.
Doubtful. Angry people who've already made their mind about the outcome will remain angry. Anarchists will take any opportunity to harm or destroy the assets of the state.

Two months, extending into late summer if the jury is hung or needs to be replaced.
There will be much subjective pedantry on the techniques taught to police officers, what is "right", "wrong", etc.
In my opinion, one should not judge taxing situations through lenses of hindsight.

EDIT 4/19/2021: Turns out I was completely wrong, jury was sequestered today. I'm expecting the verdict tomorrow.
