>Didn't get photo-ID reissued in time
>trial will be over by the time it arrives
>nothing but a cracked Remington to my name

I should have moved to a mormon stronghold state, then I might not be fucked.
It's funny how things like licensing bureaus that provide up-to-date photo IDs are all snarled up and backed up for months, making getting a current photo ID so you can purchase firearms legally rather difficult. It's funny how there are now rules about how private transfers have to be background checked and all that as if the private seller was an FFL. It's funny how ammo is so hard to find. It's funny how convenient this is for certain people.

It's very, very funny. To the point of not being funny anymore.

Don't worry fren, I have some medicine for you right here.

I was wondering why do I see people collecting the casings and why they asked me at the range if I wanted my casings.
You've just had your first encounters with the famed brass goblins.

Is that an actual accusation? That Chauvin killed Floyd over workplace beef that took place years before?
Though I'm relatively sure he's at least partially trolling this is the most retarded assertion to come out of this. If Chauvin actually wanted to murk Floyd over some undefined shady shit there are much better ways of having it 'mysteriously' happen out of sight and mind than doing it slowly in front of a crowd of angry and recording witnesses.

There is a possibility that nothing happens. I mean the lockdowns are ending. More guns now then before Chauvin kneeled on George Floyd.

Sun Tzu said to strike when the enemy leasts expects it. Everything is on high alert.
More like Shit Tzu, amirite

kill me
And then he herded them onto a boat, and then he beat the crap out of every single one.

Caught up on the thread. Given that the prosecution seems to be either criminally incompetent or deliberately spiking the case (insert reasons why here) I’m feeling mighty good with my longshot vote on 1992 literally happening again.
Time to find my oversized flannel shirts and ratty Levi’s 501s.

Not my prediction but I do hope this happens. If not for the acceleration towards people waking up from fantasy land, for the absolute mountain of content which would come out of it. Last summer but more serious riots throughout instead of a month+ of watching Portland crackfiends throw rocks at a courthouse.

Yeah, I went out and bought more ammo. What I could find, anyway. Bare shelves everywhere, and it's not just people cleaning them out - they're not getting a lot of ammo in. 9mm? Forget about it. Any pistol caliber, really.
Hell, even oddball calibers like 7.62 nagant revolver and 30. carbine are absolutely gone in most places. 8mm mauser, 303 british etc. I wouldn't put it past people to be buying these relatively unused rounds to get the powder and maybe primers if they are brave enough to reload their own shit.

Given that the one dude I talked to said reloaders were getting fucked about as hard as ammo buyers with powder, primers, etc. being scarce I wouldn't be surprised. I will say you don't use rifle powder for pistol reloading and vice versa, and I could see differences between various rifle powders causing issues if you tried to use one rifle cartridge's powder for another rifle cartridge, but sometimes it's about what you can get, not what you'd ideally have.

Even moreso given that there is likely a not insignificant amount of people who couldn't get ammo then decided to buy up reloading supplies and start throwing/mixing random shit without the reloading tables being handy or even the faintest hint of background knowledge. I'd be real careful of buying reloaded ammo for awhile because pressures/quality are probably all over the fucking place with it now.

Chris Rock thought of this first.
