On the other hand the base is still pro-Trump and the GOP basically has gone into full damage control best they can, to mitigate the damage their betrayal of Trump caused. To the point that Trump is still the front runner for the 2024 nomination as far as it being his to claim if he wants it.
Hence my comment about why the House is the one chamber Biden can't bare to lose. If the GOP DO win the House, then they can bolster their position in 2024 by opening all sorts of investigations into all of the vile shit that Biden and company were into in 2020 and the election in general. PLUS, they can impeach Biden multiple times to destroy his legacy and avenge Trump's bullshit impeachments by impeaching Biden multiple times and kill any business in the Senate by forcing the Senator Democrats to have to constantly "acquit" Biden each time new impeachment charges are filed.
If Biden doesn't order Nancy to kill Maxine, then it indicates that Biden truly IS a puppet and that Nancy/Kamala/Schumer are really running the show and that Biden is just a puppet king to the DNC Congressional leadership caste.

This is why I said that the establishment -needs- to leash their golem until after the result. Preferably a couple days after. If its a full sentencing, the media can trumpet that and just let everyone look away before things burn. If its a not guilty or hung jury, then they need to have the time to spin the message of it being due to racism to maintain the illusion of their "Peaceful protests".
All this goes out the window if the golem rages too early. Either right after the verdict or, worse, before it. Because that is when everyone is watching when the media hasn't had time to prime the narrative when people are most likely to realize what it is.

Nothing quite yet, all quiet on the western front. It will get more interesting the longer the deliberations go on and the golem gets antsy.
Edit: Also worth noting, it WASN'T an immediate guilty vewrdict. So there is at least one Juror on the side of Not Guilty. If it were just degree of guilt they could have gotten over that with a quick compromise.
