What's the reaction going to be if there's a hung deadlocked jury that cannot reach a verdict on any of the charges?
I don't think I've seen that scenario hypothesized.
That just means mistrial, mass riots if the dems don’t want to crack down, and a retrial in a different venue (which is probably what should have been at the start).

A hung jury results in a mistrial.

Violence, violence, & more violence until another nig gets arrested for nogging and becomes the next George Floyd...And the cycle will continue until the officer is found guilty.

appeals court judge will be under just as much political pressure as the jurors are in this trial. appeal will go nowhere and achieve nothing for chauvin.
Yeah,. The judge will.

Judges don't take shit from anyone.

Could you please stop living up to your name.

Here, have a list of reasons:
1: They will be appeals court judges, who have to deal with precedent.
2: They have personal security as appeals judges.
3: They are more restrained by the procedure.
and the big 4: They almost all live in the capital of Minnesota, St. Paul NOT Minneapolis. So they have way LESS fears.

Chauvin sentenced guilty of having too small of a heart, the most heinous of all crimes
This autistic shit has probably already been made but I had to

Because he was arrested. That's the take. The state's argument was arresting George Floyd caused him to die, thus the cop has to be ruined for it. What the police should have done is, upon hearing that George Floyd didn't consent, he should have been let go.
It was a sound argument. He didn't want to get in the car, so they shouldn't have put him in the car. It would be like a prisoner not wanting to go to prison. They don't want to go to prison, so what can you do? You just have to let them walk free.

This is just how our society works now. If you shop lift and you don't want to deal with the consequences the charges should be dropped.

Trump vs. Biden was hair raising, but it feels like this is the real test of our society. This will set the stage for the future of our nation. Do we allow someone to be prosecuted purely because he is White, or does the Rule of Law stand firm?

If it falls here, the precedent has officially been set; Critical Race Theory is here to stay, you will be deemed guilty for simply being White, and your only real option is to abandon and avoid all Institutions.

No one in their right mind should join the Police Force from here. No one should go to the Colleges and Universities because they will discriminate against you for the color of your skin. No one should work in these Corporations and Government Institutions because despite your competency you will be passed over for better opportunities simply because you are White. No one should participate in these Social Media platforms because your voice will be silenced.

Lets not fucking kid ourselves, this entire Trial is simply about the color of Chauvin's skin. It has nothing to do with his actions, which were nothing short of exemplary, this is completely 100% about the color of his skin. The laws Floyd broke don't matter, the drugs in Floyds system don't matter, Floyds biological body and heart standing on the precipice of death's door doesn't matter, the fact that fellow Countrymen, Government Representatives and Officials, Corporations, Social Media platforms, News organizations, and nearly half the State and Country are standing on the ready to burn Cities down and kill indiscriminately doesn't matter, no; what matters is Chauvin is White.

This entire Trial, and the events surrounding it, and the implications of if it goes through, is one of the most shameful and racist Trials we've had in modern history. It's an absolute disgrace on everything our forefathers fought to protect, and it's the perfect personification of how poisoned our society has become. Hard Evidence in contrast to Racial Prejudice, that's the question posed to the Jury, which is now more just?

All of these "people of color", and all of the "allies", and everyone who has done no research but judges Chauvin simply for being White, are cretins and cancer of the highest degree.

"Chauvin's heart was too small" the Prosecution dared to belittle. No I say, good sir, it was not Chauvin's heart that was too small; but the Persons, Institutions, and Society surrounding him instead, who took an honorable man, a man literally defending you, your property, and your society, and condemned him to prosecution for simply doing the right thing.

Throughout this Trial the mucus and spit has washed down all our faces, the wretched Influencers and News organizations and frothing fornicators frolicking in the stoked racial wars and profits they've thus ensued, all of it disgusts me to my core. It makes me hate my co-workers, my friends, my fellow countrymen, even beloved members of my own family, but there's one fucking thing it hasn't blackened in my sick disgusting filth ridden bitter cold coal like heart; and that's the Christ-like Herculin sacrifice of the lives of the ones who came before us; the one's who built this beacon of heaven we call society.

No matter how much whitewashing of their sacrifice these sick pedophilic Institutions continue to shovel at us, no matter how bitter and fecal and putrid our god dam fucking hearts become at the state of things now due to their incessant acid like ejaculation of insanity, the fact remains; it was our forefathers who built, fought, and died to create this society, and we are the living embodiment and proof of that, and it puts them into a horrific primordial frenzy the likes of which the world has never seen. It makes them red mad with jealousy, all the kangaroo courts and raving megaphone wielding sheboons and balding straw-haired rectally and neo-vaginally bleeding Eunuchs scream "it's not fair", "it's not just", they burn, they corrupt, but here we still stand.

All we simply have to do is stand, and live, our hearts beating, clean and pure from Fentanyl and Sin, and that alone proves them wrong. And that truth, that fact, it makes them furious. And we continue to stand.
The main problem I have with these "this is it, *this* is the real final red line" posts is in reality we keep seeing these sorts of high stake events happening with increasing frequency every few years. A strong argument could be made that Zimmerman, or hell even the OJ trial were the real beginnings of this, and more importantly there is nothing stopping another Chauvin tier trail that is even worse from happening in a few years even if he walks. If this is 'the real test of society' then what will the next inevitable 20 incidents be called?

No matter what a bunch of cities are now as fucked as Detroit, Minneapolis is going to die no matter what because most of their police have already quit. That police lady who shot another dude because she panicked? She was never supposed to be in the field, but they have so few officers left they had no choice. No matter what that city is going to die due to the lack of anyone wanting to join their police, and the main thing this trial will decide is whether this will take a few years, or we get to see one hell of a riot that finishes destroying it in mere days.

This is not me trying to blackpill anyone either, the nice thing about knowing things will get worse is the uncertainty goes away and you can start making practical preparations. Are you healthy? Do you have a plan to either GTFO or bunker-down with people you trust? Do you have people you trust? Is your career path taking you to an area you think will be safe 10-20 years down the line? If not, do you have any alternative options? You all still have time to get healthy, talk to people you trust about this stuff, and god forbid make plans so you know exactly what to do if your worst fears are ever realized; And I would assume that many other people on here are already doing this and have been doing this for a while.

Real talk?

Making police literally unable to arrest people against their will. You couldn't sabotage a society better if you tried. Somewhere there's a Jew having a little big nosed orgasm over all of this.
The prosecution literally said at one point that Floyd did not consent to being arrested.

The PROSECUTION said that. I would expect a shitty defense lawyer to say that when defending a violent thug. But no, the PROSECUTION is saying that Floyd did not consent.

Like, what the fuck? If I had any means whatsoever, I would flee the state after that (I mean, I would have anyway, but still.)

I literally, at this point, cannot think of ANY major US city I would want to live in at this point.

"Juror 27:

A Black man in his 30s. He immigrated to the United States 14 years ago and went to school in Nebraska and moved to Minnesota in 2012. He works in information technology and lives with his wife and dog. He speaks multiple languages, including French. Learning that he was in the jury pool made him "surprised and anxious," but he realizes it's his civic duty. While relating to Floyd's death and thinking "it could be anybody, it could have been you," he also said, "I believe that I will be impartial." He said he believes people have the right to protest, but at the same time, he realizes that businesses are shut down and damaged, and his wife is unable to make it to work. He wants to serve on the jury because "it is a service to my community and our country."

Juror 27 is the best bet for a strong holdout. Foreign blacks tend towards hating Ghetto blacks, PLUS he is well off, PLUS he was raised in a red state, AND he's doing it out of civic duty which is the class of jurors who pay the most attention.

SCOTUS oversees the appeals courts because appeal courts can rule incorrectly. SCOTUS can make up legislation whenever it wants.

Chauvin isnt getting shit from a court.

If anything this whole ordeal shows that cities as they are in the modern era are an absolute shitshow. Who would have thought that making everyone live in apartment complexes on top of each other and packed like sardines with no space would result in everyone hating each other?

I work the night shift. If I go to sleep now what are the chances a verdict will be in by the time I wake up in 8 hours?
I think it's literally impossible to tell.

I will say this though. If it doesn't happen today, there's a good chance that it gets drawn out for a long time. No verdict today basically means that there is a major disagreement in at least one of the charges.

For example, they could have already voted yes to manslaughter, but they will argue forever about murder. As someone earlier in the thread said, especially if there are two black women on the jury, they may never come back straight innocent for murder. They may have to vote guilty for manslaughter and then hung on the murder charges.
