I think he's an edgelord the same way MadThad was. He's a genuine pedophile, but is in people's faces about it because he mistakenly believes he's untouchable for some reason. If some DA wants to nail him for the lolicon, they'll get him. And he's going to have a hard time finding anyone to finance his crusade to take it through the court system all the way to the Supreme Court. Even if the court agrees to hear his case, I doubt that the court is going to overturn US obscenity law so perverts can watch sexualized images of children.
