You can see the PUA tribes of our loveshy friends calling it push/pull. A normal person might make themselves less available in the beginning of a relationship so that they can test the waters and so their partner values you more later. People with various personality disorders, especially borderline personality disorder and narcissistic personality disorder will duck in and out of this phase either because of their own mood swings or as a manipulation tactic. I invited my online bf for safety reasons .. he helped me get food and had a phone and walked me to places

So they see the big picture forgetting the negative details and kicked me out cause I decided not to call her Even tho I took GED n all dat

And so I was in the streets again hotels that my bf provided me and shelter on churches and help from his adoptive folks

Akemi phone got lost I have no phone no shelter akemi adoptive parents got me a phone and ski paid for one

And so I start to have urinary track infection (UTI) went to the hospital witch it was a load of help with the pills and all

I get food stamps and started taking GED in the oasis opportunity center in Portsmouth with a job skill workshop experience training (JSWET

I get food stamps donated my blood every two weeks for a $30 plasma donation at octoplasma in Portsmouth

And provided me free bus passes in the (OOC)

They bad goes to worse so fast for me my wallet is gone lost everything with my I.d and my SS and EBT

Currently waiting till my mom sends the birth certificate at the location to my GED so I can get my.

Chuck might have gone a little off the handle, and his idea might not be practical, but I've known a lot of people who got themselves stuck in shitty abusive situations, often out of their own naïvity and stupidity, so a part of my heart goes out to her. If I was trying to white knight I wouldn't be on this forum. If we can sit around and laugh at this waste of resources abusing and beating her, we should at least see if maybe we can do something to try to make the situation a bit better. It's not our duty or anything, but I don't see what's so terrible about wanting to help a messed up but innocent person out.

You think so? Cause lots of people in shit relationships are locked in by shit other than their partner. She'll never leave if she can't walk out the door, the shit could go on forever. It's easier to reconcile and work through an incident than be homeless with no phone no cash and no place to go next because that could get you killed. I think that claims that there is zero chance this will help are ignorant, there is zero chance she's leaving unless she can get back to her friends and family and there is no way she can do that on her own... probably by design.


He lives with his parents there is no locking her in the basement if she gets hit because of this it was going to happen anyhow. It's not our job to be rescue party for yaya but I want to do it if she needs to go back to moms all she has to do is ask and she's there. That's me you go do what you want to do. Is English not Yaya's native language or she legitimately intellectually disabled?

If she's actually mentally disabled, Damien could be in serious legal trouble depending on state law. Sexual consent laws are different when one party's IQ is below 70. Where I am, it's illegal for a normal adult to have sex with someone who's mentally handicapped, even if they're an adult. It's considered rape because the disabled person isn't on the same mental footing as the normal person. Law might be different in Virginia, but another thing to consider is that if the police become aware that Yaya isn't mentally normal, most states allow for the arrest of an abuser even without the consent of the abused, as they may not recognize what's in their own best interests. Yaya might even be assigned a guardian by the state. Of course, she'd have to be tested, but if she is disabled in that way, Akemi is in for a world of hurt if the state gets wind of the situation.

Really? So far all he's done is make a nice public post full of emotional statements about how we could totally have her eating her next meal back with her family. It seems more like a good way to farm Feels and Semper Fi ratings than to actually get anything done, especially considering that the boyfriend he's trying to rescue her from is likely reading this very thread and if he's actually dangerous to her, he can probably at least intercept any plane tickets we mailed her.

This isn't meant as a personal attack against Chuck's character or anything. It applies to pretty much any random user on this or any other internet forum. I understand that it's tempting to want to save everybody, but it's also hard. I'm not going to congratulate anyone until they've actually accomplished something, and I'm not going to give money to someone I barely know for a likely futile cause.

If you want to help, your best bet would be to contact her privately, link her to some shelters that might be able to help, and don't tell everyone on the thread about what a hero you are. The fact that everyone seems to be focused on doing the last thing first is what makes me skeptical that anything concrete is ever going to come of it.
