Its quite the opposite, actually. He's a foul-mouthed drunken letch who loves to fish with high explosives (and who turned out a hell of a lot more like his abusive, alcoholic father than he wants to admit), and during the I Never drinking game if you say you never jumped out a lover's window he chugs down a drink and then says he was banging a friend's gal and didn't want to be caught in the act. Here's what his journal entry in W1 says:
The young witcher I met at Kaer Morhen sure is quarrelsome and he has a biting tongue... He is rude, especially to Triss Merigold, who he addresses by her last name. I think at times he uses rudeness to express his fondness for someone.

And in W3 if you convinced Keira Metz to head to Kaer Morhen he winds up banging her after the battle, his comments to Geralt about sorceresses seemingly forgotten.

What do you all think of the Witcher 1 remake? I never played the original.

I wonder if CDPR knows that the Witcher 4 having an ugly Ciri as the MC won't go over well so remaking 1 is to help mitigate any profit losses. Might be a stretch, sure, but I would think that studio would be well aware of who is most likely to buy their games and they'd cater to that demographic.

Witcher 1 remake isn't being made inhouse by CDPR it's a Silent Hill 2 remake situation where it's being outsourced to a cheap B tier studio for development.

There's a pretty good chance it turns out to be a mess like a lot of these outsourced games.

I've heard that the first game is janky as fuck, especially the combat, so I think the bar is fucking low already. Still wouldn't surprise me if some things get changed in development to cater to "modern audiences" that are simply fucking retarded story/canon-wise. Like I wrote before, this remake sounds like a cash grab for the faggots at CDPR and not any of kind labor of love, no matter who is developing it.

Oh absolutely they already heavily implied the special Gwent romance cards are going to be cut because that's sexist and shieeeet.

Imagine if you mixed a hack and slash with Guitar Hero.

And until we see how good or bad it is, I wouldn't call it a cash grab. It's my favorite of the three but it definitely has rough edges that can be smoothed out.

Coming from the same company that had fully modelled in 4k and animated cocks and vaginas in Cyberpunk, that's rich. Since Timmy Tencent decided to makes his engine unmoddable, if I can't bang half the redheads in Vizima and make a CCG out of it, i'm boycotting.

By "edgy" did they mean that Geralt can't have sex with female NPCs at all/as easily and the player can't view as much PG-13 nudity? I mean, I could understand cutting that if they simply stated "It doesn't serve the gameplay or story and we don't think it's worth the time and resources to keep it in the game." But calling it edgy and acting as if they're doing players a favor makes them sound like fucking retards trying to appeal to people who were never going to buy the game in the first place.

I know you all know this already.

Not really it's just a slightly less turn based version of KOTOR. There are a few continuity issues with the story depending on the order you do them in that could be fixed.

Nah, customers always complain about how it is RUINED FOREVER but still buy it because what else are they gonna do with the money, save it for kids they'll never have because they're too busy playing the newest Witcher release?
