It doesn't though. I told you pages ago all of us knew it was Phil well before the text match program. You seem to keep ignoring these points so how about I bullet point them for you so you can continue to play stupid and ignore them and act like the program was all we had. DEBUNKED!
- Phil wouldn't say the name of the game on stream, he would avoid saying it and call it another game. This is a classic tell of lying.
- Phil has admitted in the past he played the game. So why can't he show his screen name and clear poor innocent "TheyCallMeDSP"?
- Why is there are user with the name "TheyCallMeDSP" who is apparently neither a DSP fan or troll? Is his name David Smith Prince or something?
- Why would someone who spent 40k on a mobile game not do everything they could to clear their name when the guilds they were in started to get harassed and kick him out of guild after guild after guild?
I could go on, but I tell you what answer these first.
Answer what? I literally do not care about any of these points or if DSP has spent 40k. Literally my only question has been do you have a link to the fucking code. The only reason the conversation has continued is because you all felt offended that someone could possibly disagree with you and thus started insulting me. If your argument is solid my points should have been easily debunked. I don't know years of DSP lore and shit like you all. I literally saw a post on youtube saying it is 100% him and that there was a statistical linguistics tool to prove it and I was curious since I could not find that tool anywhere online.
But I'll take a crack at the above points just as a 3rd party person and present possibilities. I make no claim on their likeliness in this answer:
1) I looked up signs of lying and literally did not see anything about "avoiding saying [the name]" of the subject at hand. I would guess that him doing that is basically a way to make people forget about the issue or devalue it. He did the same thing with superhound by calling him super burnout. Phil basically seems like the kind of guy who talks himself up to make himself seem bigger than he is, as a defense mechanism. but it doesn't come across to me as a "lie", more of a defensive mechanism. He does 2 things by pretending he is not aware of something or by deliberately not saying names of something: 1) new people dont know what he is talking about and have a harder time finding the lore 2) he makes himself sound like he doesn't care which is beneficial for the reason above
2) I did see the clip where he admitted he played it. So some reasons I might not show my username to the public: I use the handle on multiple accounts and it's an identifiable handle which a google search in some other sites might reveal more information about me; if my username is known publicly, I will be harassed in-game, or my friends in game will not associate with me. Online handles provide a level of anonymity. That is what I can think of right now. Based on your point, the WWE guy was kciked out of guilds after it was known he could possibly be DSP. Seems like DSP might be aware of the hate he gets online and doesn't want to get kicked out of whatever group he is in.
I do agree however that it would be easy to disprove this. I'm just saying why it's possible he doesn't. It could be he is hiding something else.
3) Probably the same reason there are multiple people in the world called David Smith? just before creating my account, I looked up a handle I was going to use and found it was used on some pinterest-esque accounts. I don't see how this evidence that they are the same person.
Follow up question to the above point - once the possible link was made, was the WWE account deleted? or did the guy leave his account up? if it's still up, that is more evidence to me that they are not the same person. If I am trying to hide my profile, I would delete it so people don't have the chance to analyze it. I saw this exact situation happen on summit1g's stream: someone he played with was doing incredibly well, and someone looked up the gamer tag handle and found it in a forum for game hacks. When the player was accused, the profile was deleted.
4) Who got kicked out of guild after guild after guild? WWE guy? Sounds like he did try to prove he is not DSP but no one listened or believed. Again, as a random user, why do I want to post my face and identity just because people associate with a random online personality who happens to have the same online handle as me?
You didn't ask a basic question. You came in here like it was some sort of parliament meeting, all jumped up and ready to argue, posting autistic walls of text about how court cases work. Then you come out with shit like "reclaiming power" and "extending the olive branch".
Go to Reddit, they love debating with retards.
Mate learn to read before you insult someone else. Clearly you don't understand how parliament meetings work. Point out also who brought up preponderance of evidence first and if you can prove I was the first to use that phrase I will agree with you and delete this account (assuming you can delete accounts. If I can't, I'll just stop posting on KiwiFarms).
