Trump is a pussy because he doesn't drink.Trump?
That's sad. Same for the Adderall/Ritalin cases that I mentioned earlier. Their brains are completely burned through to the point they're incapable of being productive without abusing drugs. Young 20-something that's completely fucked because they wanted to impress someone who didn't care about them at all. It doesn't even take that long in a high pressure environment and you can pretty much give them an expiration date once you notice the drug abuse. Wouldn't be surprised if HR was on it already.Met a dude who at 17 had used so much gum tobacco that the root of his canines were showing. Irreparable. At 17. And you fear slightly yellow teeth at 60 from smoking? Nah zoomers out here speedrunning death
They watch too many movies.what still entertains me about this thread is that all you should drink niggas are also the very same figures correlating with trad or fundie values, like what the fuck you want dumbass
This is honestly 99% of it. Whites don't realize how many ethnic groups are not into drinking, beyond that beer doesn't even get you drunk, so plenty of are drinking beer because of a societal expectation, like not having tattoos and shaving and wearing a suit. If its ok to not drink beer than people won't. Drinking in the US is also like a quarter it is in europe too, like the median person in america had less than a beer a week, and that was a study done almost 20 years ago, its even less now. if you finish off a dozen beers a week you're in the top 20% of drinkers in the US, plenty of europeans do that in a workday.alcohol is haram
the only people i know that drink popov love trannies and exclusively vote democrat why is that?a liter of popov is $12 and that will last you an entire day. are you all retarded or what?
not true. its like beers, everyone has different tolerance.A few beers, you'll be sober in a few hours. A bowl or two, you're done for the night.
this is a huge one. drinking on medication is literally a death sentence. it turns the effects of 12oz of beer into 12oz of everclear on your liver, even if you personally don't feel it.Honestly, I'd wager that part of it is due to the amount of SSRI-addled zoomers that are chicken-shit to drink alcohol due to possible issues with their medication, or their own experiences with alcoholic relatives.
You’re not very familiar with wine snobs….and there are a LOT of them. While getting intoxicated is a side benefit for them, they love Love LOVE talking about wine and the different characteristics of their favourite ambrosias.People don't drink alcohol for the taste and they do not vape to look interesting. They do it to get f**ked up.
I’ve never experienced a ‘buzz’ because I’ve never done more than take a sip of various alcoholic beverages which afforded me enough information to immediately stop consuming the witch’s brew. I don’t care if other people drink alcohol as long as their drinking doesn’t negatively impact me. Being a teetotaler is not a “me problem”, rather it’s quite effectively prevented problems with no effort at all on my part.If you hate the buzz from alcohol because you're a control freak and you don't trust others enough to be in a diminished capacity around them, well every neurotic weirdo who can't be trusted says that same thing. It's a you problem, holmes.
Bingo. Rodeo Roadrunner gets it. He understands.I am not a zoomer but I just don't like the taste. And all the people that say "well you are supposed to just get drunk" what if I don't want to get drunk? I see no reason to be intoxicated at all, especially since every party or gathering I was at where people get drunk just turns awkward and lame as people think their shitty jokes are funny due to everything being funny when drunk, they can't hold a conversation due to drunkenness, and they don't even want to do anything except sit there and drink. Weed is arguably just as bad, since when high people just want to sit on the couch and take a nap in an hour. Taking any intoxicant at all is just lame, why do you need a mood-altering substance that has such a strong effect on you?
I just want to live beyond a paltry 100 years. Is that so wrong? Wouldn’t you want to live for 500 to 1000 years? And wouldn’t you want to live those years as your best physical self….the equivalent of being in your 20s with prime health and beauty?A quick glance over your posting history suggests you're under 30, scared of getting old -
As a former model I can assure you that nasty processed food has not been a noticeable part of my diet…ever. Yes, my parents blessed me with excellent genes, but they also fed me and my siblings really high-quality whole foods. And sugary items almost didn’t exist for us which may be why I have no discernible sweet tooth.I've got more than a slight suspicion you're a kid who subsists on goyslop, which means naturally your palette is so unrefined that wine tastes bad to you - because it's not laced with high fructose corn syrup.
How are teetotalers so fucking embarrassing and autistic every single time? I'd prefer if you just were Muslim.I just want to live beyond a paltry 100 years. Is that so wrong? Wouldn’t you want to live for 500 to 1000 years? And wouldn’t you want to live those years as your best physical self….the equivalent of being in your 20s with prime health and beauty?

Well, you're not going to, and you're going to age. One day you'll look in the mirror and see wrinkles, or you'll have gotten your face so stretched and pumped full of plastic to try and avoid wrinkles that you'll be bogged.I just want to live beyond a paltry 100 years. Fuck no, one of the best parts of living is dying. Immortality is a curse that forces you to watch everything and everyone you love and care for die around you. The Gods envy us because of our mortality.Wouldn’t you want to live for 500 to 1000 years?
Drinking is a trad value. Teetotalism in the West has always been the prerogative of progressive, utopian cults like Quakerism, Puritanism, and eugenics. Cromwell banned alcohol, Catholicism, and Christmas. Prohibition was pushed by Suffragettes in America. Same goes for Eastern civilizations. The only cultures which consider it 'trad' are Muslims and Southern Baptists.what still entertains me about this thread is that all you should drink niggas are also the very same figures correlating with trad or fundie values, like what the fuck you want dumbass
Then you should start drinking a glass of wine or beer every day with dinner, or every other day if that's too much. On balance it reduces your risk of stroke and heart attack and leads to a longer life span. Every single blue zone in the world features regular moderate alcohol consumption, not a single one is known for teetotalism.I just want to live beyond a paltry 100 years. Is that so wrong? This is a poem written by a Catholic arch-conservative glorifying drunkenness and youthful folly in a lighthearted manner:
Aside from the scientific illiteracy involved in claiming that teetotalism is healthy, this also annoys me because I've seen the J-curve play out with my own family. I have a large extended family which included alcoholics, teetotalers, and moderate lifelong drinkers. Of the people who made it to their late 80s to late 90s, every single one was a moderate drinker. The unreformed alcoholics died in their 50s and 60s. The teetotalers/reformed alcoholics died in their 60s and 70s, almost ALL of them from a stroke or heart attack. One older relative I know was once an alcoholic, but started to have a single glass of wine every day with dinner in his later life after developing blood pressure issues and he didn't have another stroke for years after having two and a heart attack in rapid succession in his 80s. Alcohol is a vasodilator and lowers blood pressure, this is an indisputable scientific fact, and when you look at the historical issues with blood pressure medications moderate alcohol consumption starts to look like a very rosy prospect in comparison.Teetotalers will socially just call anyone who uses alcohol an alcoholic and childishly underestimate what it means to actually be an alcoholic.

This is true. It was considered a virtue to be able to drink yet not become a lush or alcoholic.
Teetotalers will socially just call anyone who uses alcohol an alcoholic and childishly underestimate what it means to actually be an alcoholic. Just one of many proofs that they do not consider facts but are just people who exist to steal joy. The food and beverage version of NoFap. Such very fun people to be around.
I've seen plenty of zoomers that still drink. Don't know how many of them are in bars, though, since I've rarely ever gone to any myself.
But I have also observed the sentiment of doing weed or some other drugs with abandon yet being critical of alcohol, so perhaps there is a budding trend of drinking getting phased out with other vices, carrying their own effects. I'm not sure to what extent that sentiment has grown, however.
Wine does not solely have benefits due to anti-oxidants, that's largely pop science. By far the main health benefit of wine is due to the alcohol itself, which lowers blood pressure and causes vasodilation when consumed in moderate amounts (and has the opposite, deleterious effect when consumed in excess). This is what causes a drop in ischemic stroke and heart attacks long-term, which is what contributes to the elevated life expectancy among moderate drinkers. I personally don't buy the idea that wine is better because it's wine, I think it's probably more due to the fact that wine is a bit more expensive and that the culture around wine consumption tends toward moderate consumption whereas beer and liquor drinkers have a much stronger binge drinking culture - which is terrible for you. Sure, there are winos, but they're comparatively more rare.Wine is generally an expensive drink so your family experience could simply be a representation of this. Wine's benefit as an anti-oxidant is proven, but whether or not that makes up for its health risks is a different question.
This is a blog written by a random non-expert (bachelors in biology and a masters in communication) at Harvard whose primary argument is that epidemiological studies cannot prove causation - which is true of all epidemiological studies, including the anti-alcohol ones. In order to prove causation either way you would need to have some sort of Japanese war crime facility where you force feed large sample sizes differing quantities of alcohol over long periods of time and observe them, which isn't done for obvious reasons. Sadly, 95% of the info that the general public gets about health comes from articles like this, which is probably part of why we're in such a sorry state health-wise.
There were only three, and one did die before I met them. You should also keep in mind that alot of your family members in your alcoholism ridden family may have just died before you ever actually met them.
'Blue zone' doesn't mean "Mediterranean" generally, but rather refers to specific localized areas, mostly among rural island populations in Sardinia and Greece. If the cause was old age pension fraud you'd expect to see more of that in populated areas and it'd be a general phenomenon and not a localized one. Others included Okinawa and others in Central America that don't have this issue at all. Regardless, if alcohol was so deleterious to health that stopping consumption would extend your life you'd expect to see a huge bump in life expectancy among Muslims, but you don't, even among those living in first world countries. The only group of teetotalers that I know of that are inordinately long lived are Mormons, but there are too many confounding variables there (abstention from smoking and caffeine being the big ones).France has extremely high wine consumption and a higher life expectancy, but they also have one of the best public healthcare systems in the world. Italy, Spain and Greece have high wine consumption, but their life expectancy thing has been proven a myth. The Mediterranean area of long lived lives (the Blue Zone) was proven false by the fact that these regions have extremely high old age pension fraud and histories of bad record keeping. People lied about their ages to get their pensions or the govt failed to record them actually dying. Their families may have just want to keep getting the cheques or they were just alone and nobody cared. All that made their wine addicted lives look healthier than they actually were.
