Thread for Discussing the Media Response to Recent Events

A YouTube channel I recently subscribed to briefly mentioned Chris-Chan using masculine pronouns at the end of today's video,
It's a very lowkey, down-to-earth channel about trials and murder cases with dry humor.
True Crime Loser is solid, I've been enjoying his stuff for a while.

When this whole situation dropped I started wondering if he would do some sort of commentary on Chris-Chan. There are already plenty of videos (and channels) about Chris, but True Crime Loser is pretty skilled at telling stories with the dry humor that you mentioned, so if he does end up doing a separate Chris video, I'm sure he could find a way to make it stand out from the rest.

It's too bad there isn't any kind of interrogation footage available - I'm sure that TCL (and other channels like JCS, and maybe The Behavior Panel) would have fun analyzing the situation.

It's like they're trying to coddle him and throw shade all at the same time.

Only thing funnier than the misgendering is referring to him as "Chan" instead of Chandler.

Media fervor is calming down. In the end, no one really cares that much about Chris fucking his mom.
Of course not. This isn't someone who has a track record with mainstream public or is a household name.

This is just some random kook on the internet that most people will forget about tomorrow.

So, which show would turn Chris into a segment (they're mostly going to focus on bullying, trolls and the Farms): 20/20? 60 Minutes? A Current Affair?

CWC's lawyer speaks to Newsweek.

Apparently, the lawyer thinks the CWCki shouldn't be believed/read, even though it has the most factual things that Chris has said and done.
The CWCki has a very pro Chris stance. I know the articles are factual with sources and its a good source for raw information, but they are about as objective as rational wiki. Especially with the arugments sections. The farms are similiar, the owner was a "guard dog". I think mainstream media is being more hostile to Chris than the CWCki or the forums. This is not saying that current dynamic is good either, usualy it would be inverted.

Maybe a bit OT but I notice they've stopped writing the articles in Chris's POV. Trolls are outright called trolls instead of saying stuff like "such and such was a true and honest woman infatuated with Chris and Sonichu."

Looks more like a local affiliate than Fox News proper.
Still very funny. Not even Tucker Carlson used the type of description used in this segment. Just one of the latest media reactions.
